Thank you for another athlete focused practice. I love yoga and your intermediate classes and attempting to still do arm balances, the creative transitions, retain my breath and focus through the practice…but I also run and lift and those activities tighten up muscles and tendons so it feels great to stretch them. Maybe an idea for a series could be mobility/stretch for athletes that breaks down the body into segments like ankle/calf/shins/feet, posterior chain, hips, quads…my main fitness goals are running focused but I don’t want to neglect mobility and flexibility it’s so important and a space athletes need support. 15-20 min classes like this are perfect to throw in after a training session!

Got sore muscles from yesterday practice and this sequence is perfect for me who still want to move without stressing my muscles. I manage to break a sweat and got my heartbeat increases at some point while doing this. Thank you so much Charlie for this video

Hey Charlie! I wanted to offer you some feedback. I'm a dragonboat athlete, who strength trains as part of her training, and this is my rest day. I decided to give this practice a try, and you lost me in the holding of the plank. My arms and body are so sore, that when I'm looking for a practice, it has to be much more restorative. It seems I misunderstood the title, and this is meant for mobility improvement and warming up, and less for recovery afterwards. Still a lovely practice, just not what I thought it was going to be like fromt he title. You have plenty of restorative practices, and I'll give another a try.
Nice practice after running, thank you!❤ I could not resist but to add skandasana and attempt mermaid to further stretch the thigh muscles - I obviously did not run hard or far enough today I usually do not have so much energy still available just after...😂
