I enjoy all of your videos - I can understand a one-off trust based job for a new customer with potential future business opportunities and hopefully you'll get your cash. Thanks for taking the time to do these - as a new driver have found them extremely beneficial. Best wishes - keep them coming !
Thanks bob I really appreciate that, I've finally had contact from them and they are paying tomorrow only 2 weeks late. thank you for watching and subscribing
I would bet a little word of warning that if you are not paid within 7 days they will be getting a visit for illegally transporting adr goods, you will be paid very quickly! Game on!
whats the ADR rate youd expect to pay ? , I charge £2/2.50 per mile for a xlwb curtain sider ... , probs too cheap but i never get the job on cx anyways :D
Great video as usual James. I agree with a comment by another subscriber. If they mess you around for another 21 days then I would nudge them in the direction that they are moving items illegally. Just a thought
for this particular video or in general? I've been waiting to see if i was paid on time or not. Also my lovely wifey edits the videos and she's been super busy doing other things.
James get yourself a windscreen repair kit off the internet and repair your screen l've been doing it for years and saved myself loads of cash by not having to pay for replacements even if insurance pays the excess is over £100 and they have always got through an MOT I do the same with punctures been repairing them when they can be fixed kits on the internet are very cheap less than it would cost for just one repair at a tyre shop unfortunately it's one of the draw backs of our business also l would call the company on Monday morning and tell them that if payment is not in your account by 10AM on Tuesday at 10.05am I will be onto the authority responsible and report them for transporting goods illegally they are not worth having has a customer.
Very worthwhile comments ... I have previously repaired tyres with a repair kit but never repaired a windscreen. (And over 25 years I've replaced a few!) I ll research repair kits 👍 I ll get a kit
That's a brilliant idea i've actually got 2 chips now so worth trying to repair them before they crack. and they've been back in touch and said they are paying this Wednesday, so tomorrow as i type this
big mistake as you stated doing the job without agreeing price. they were always gonna argue the toss after the event. Also......nobody throws good paying work/customers. It's usually because they are a PITA
Yeh well I know the other lads that do work out of there and what rates they were getting so I though there would be no issue with my invoice but I was wrong 😑
I have a lot of expenses to pay out of that, i try earn between £300-£500 a day after fuel costs, so this is slightly under target. Plus £1k would have been much nicer you've got to agree

I've had a response, apparently the women who does the accounts has been off, they're claiming payment will be made Wednesday(so tomorrow)
@@JamesFletcherVlogs Fingers crossed for you mate.
These solar panel jobs are all over CX with the batteries going out with non trained ADR drivers.
Yeh I agree it’s happening a lot, and some bigger companies simply don’t care

Yeh that’s something I’ll keep in mind. I just knew getting paid off these guys was gonna be a pain 😂
And one more thing if they don't pay...
Get them in the County Court...you will win. 👍
Nice video James. Good luck
Thanks 👍
Definitely a sketchy company, they're not gonna pay you pal, prepare to go legal on them
I got paid pal, just a few weeks late in the end.
