whats the ADR rate youd expect to pay ? , I charge £2/2.50 per mile for a xlwb curtain sider ... , probs too cheap but i never get the job on cx anyways :D

James get yourself a windscreen repair kit off the internet and repair your screen l've been doing it for years and saved myself loads of cash by not having to pay for replacements even if insurance pays the excess is over £100 and they have always got through an MOT I do the same with punctures been repairing them when they can be fixed kits on the internet are very cheap less than it would cost for just one repair at a tyre shop unfortunately it's one of the draw backs of our business also l would call the company on Monday morning and tell them that if payment is not in your account by 10AM on Tuesday at 10.05am I will be onto the authority responsible and report them for transporting goods illegally they are not worth having has a customer.

big mistake as you stated doing the job without agreeing price. they were always gonna argue the toss after the event. Also......nobody throws good paying work/customers. It's usually because they are a PITA

I would bet a little word of warning that if you are not paid within 7 days they will be getting a visit for illegally transporting adr goods, you will be paid very quickly! Game on!

24£ for 49miles thats why there is no rates now a days on cx 🤬 sometime £ a mile is not even worth it if you come back home empty most of the drivers if they dont get job they have to sleep in van due to low prices...it shoud be 2£ a mile minimum

Surely if you buy a new van you would spread the he cost over say a three year period? Also fuel consumption of newer vans will be lower than a 6 year old van , as engine technology evolves
