People like you just hate fun, old heads used to say the same thing about videos games and anime but now they're international and on top. what if you play both? you can either take a turn on Fire Tower or Monopoly. money means nothing if you burn, or you could wind up poor but still have your life.
I always thought of it like "just try to hold off the fire while you break out." Last person alive is the only one to break out of the tower and escape in time.
I find it more like escape on the way but taking time to arrive. That way once 3 people die enough time has passed for an escape helicopter to rescue the last player.
I've played this with my family many times. Soooo much fun. It goes on sale occasionally at target for 33% off making it 20 dollars. Usually goes for 30. Definitely recommend.
@@moistp1ckle you could say that about literally any board game tho. What about the time it took for the artist to make all the illustrations and the design of the board itself? What about the time spent coming up with the premise, implementing mechanics, and balancing the game? Is none of that worth anything to you?

The concept for this game is honestly really eerie. Imagine actually being in this kind of situation where the only way to survive is to try your best and hope and pray the others die before you.

I reckon a digitised version of this would be first person inside your own tower, with a board in the middle that’s a map of you and the other players. And maybe in between turns you can wonder around your tower and survey the bushfire with binoculars or something. It’d also be pretty neat if whenever another player is disqualified you can hear them burning and see their towers collapse from a distance

I played this but the round only lasted 2 seconds cause everyone was smart enough to use the stairs to exit the fire watch before the flames got anywhere near them. 5/5 super realistic sim game would play again.
