    Never realized a Tacoma could also be used as a bulldozer.

    I also have a stock trd off road 2020 and it blew my mind off road. I’m a guy use to old fords before it .and just the ease it gets me around on some hairy roads here in wv. You can totally tell it was built to work in places like Africa. Like it’s built to be off road for just like that for miles.
    I put some Toyos on it. I wish it came with better tires

    Great video! Stock 4runner SR5 is pretty impressive. Atrac was doing it's thing.

    Nice. 2 to 3 inch lift and some better tires would get you through those areas where it was hung up or lacked traction. Thw stock Tacoma did well. Some people think you need to throw alot of money at the truck before you can have fun offroading.

      Plus a stock Tacoma drives so much better than a lifted one win win

      @@remotecontrolcentral4928 not true, a lifted one with a quality suspension will handle way better on and off road, don't spew false information if you don't know what you're talking about

      @family adventures do you know what color is best for the Tacoma if I go off-road? I love the army green if that helps

  • @trojandude3127
    @trojandude3127 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Crawl control is not meant for that scenario. The front bumper of the taco was hitting that soil you can also see how the tacom fitted perfectly that;s why the tires were not getting traction.

  • @Healthy_Scratch
    @Healthy_Scratch 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Whoever in the video pointing out that one of the wheels wasn't moving while you were using the crawl control, you should let them know that, that means that wheel has traction while the others are spinning to find traction. Entertaining video none the less!

      Whatever fancy electronic gadgets they put on the truck and call it off road or turd or whatever, if it has street tires and the tread fills up with mud, it is like having no tread at all.

    • @RagingBad
      @RagingBad 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@greenlawnfarm5827 they are also inexperienced, I've seen Tacomas with the same stock tires go through mud like that without getting stuck, another thing that didn't helped him was low ground clearance

    Why is it not recommended to use ball hitch as a recovery point?

    • @marineone7507
      @marineone7507 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A ball hitch is not designed to be aggressively yanked on during a recovery. There is a possibility the ball could sheer off and become a cannon ball.

    Cool Vid. My basically stock 88 FJ62 straight axle with 32" Wrangers has no problem out there or anywhere fact being. She's a beast but a tank to drive long distance. I refuse to tear up my 2020 TRD stock. Too expensive and not made stock for it. Got trailer and 4-wheeler to get where I want. I use them for work (environmental surveying).

  • @KnightWheelsMedia
    @KnightWheelsMedia 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice video man! I know you mentioned it but instead of using the ball hitch you can always just take the hitch out and attach the rope to the hitch pin 🤙🏼

      It's pretty tame actually, but if you just like a nice ride through the woods it's not bad. They have made a lot of the fun spots off limits now. Now everyone congregates around these deep rut areas. We did a night ride out there recently and it was fun.

    Bilstein 6112 & 5160 shocks with 33's would have made a big difference and a front locker. I hope Toyota puts in a front locker in the next couple of years and a diesel engine option and or 4.7L V8 option
