Thanks for your videos! I just installed the illuminated kick plates and pass thru lighting yesterday. The illuminated kick plate installation went exactly as your video shows (I made sure to run the wires under the weather stripping), and didn’t take much over an hour. I had a little more trouble with the pass thru lighting installation. I spent almost 3 hours fishing the light connector wire thru the console assembly using the large zip tie, I was able to finally get to thru but I had a few choice words! Also since I used the accessory wiring plug to power the illuminated kick plates, I thought I the unused black and white wires on the accessory wiring plug would work as well as tapping into the black and white wires before the accessory wiring plug, but I was wrong! Thanks again!!
One hour and counting for me…😂, to the left of the harness? To the right of the harness? The zip tie wanted to travel high and not make the turn. Then I took off the opposite, drivers side trim and from that side I could shine a light and see exactly how to direct the zip and 3 minutes later I was done. Thanks for the heads up that I can’t use the accessory wiring harness wires for this connection. Awesome videos, Paul!
Do you know the part number of the screw around the 3m30sec mark, holding that side foot panel in? I guess I didn’t tighten mine fully and it came loose and is gone now. Thanks!

Excellent videos! I was wondering if your Pathfinder has rear puddle door lights? My 2022 Platinum has knock out plates in the rear doors where the lights are suppose to be. I would love to see a video adding the lights in the rear doors.
Don't really understand your last point in this video about the white clip on the upper inner passenger side mat area. Does it need to be replaced after you pry stuff loose because it will break? Don't see the link for the actual replacement in your tool/Nissan link. Also any thoughts about how to wire everything at once if you do the kick plates, track underbody lighting and pass through all at once now that you have been through each separately? Super helpful videos, excited to try these installs.
So that clip it does not break it can be taken apart , but if it does break no big deal , as for wiring everything all at once this is actually the best to do it if you planning on doing both , I actually went back in and solder everything together the under body light and the kick plates use some of the same wires from the acc connector .

Do you know if there is a footwell lighting option? In the settings under lighting it seems to show footwell lighting, not the accent lighting around the door trim.
I just installed mine today. Does the light stay on all the time? I wired per the Nissan instructions like you did but it never turns off. Is it supposed to?
Not sure why this is so hard for people , you can try using a light put it on the back of the panel where the wire is supposed to come out off and look for the light shining thru .
Truly appreciate your videos. However, I have a comment and a question... Reference drilling out for the light. Actually it's designed for the retaining clip to snap into place (from underneath) and then the light snaps onto it and it's immediately secured. Question: Does your light stay constantly on? Even the "battery saver" doesn't detect it. But wondering how much of a drain it is. Thanks again. Steve
Hi Steve thanks for the input , but as per nissan instructions no the light does not go in from underneath and yes per nissan you have to drill it out , done plenty of them already and instructions have not changed . And no the light goes off when the car is off and all lights turn off .
@PRviewsvlogs Sorry it sounded wrong... Yes the light on top... Mine is staying lit being wired to the black and white wires. It does have the factory option of welcome lighting. Thanks for the videos.
@PRviewsvlogs Definitely white, under bright light. But, there's a (looks) light blue next to it and it is ignition controlled. So easy fix. Mine is a '23 so maybe a wiring update? In any event, this and the LED swap videos were definitely helpful. I've also changed out the front and rear signals LED. Now I can see and be seen!
Maybe its a platinum edition feature, I have a SL premium edition and dont have those lights. I'll have to check around and see if it can be purchased.
@@PRviewsvlogs Gotcha, I was able to install mines without removing them but maybe Ill redo it to see if it is a noticeable difference. I now understand what you mean, thanks for explaining why it should be done.

There is no way to install them I’ve been asked multiple times, you would have to do aftermarket

There is a small bulb there but nothing from Nissan I’m sure u can make a after market option

@@emanuelrivera8048 I don't think they can be added but Amazon has some aftermarket lights that you can buy that look nice and are easy to install.
FYI you do not need to remove the tabs where the light goes, it fits in that area with them there.
FYI , the whole is smaller then the light by a few mm you remove it so it has a better fit and to sit flush .
