i tried hellotalk 😭 it's not working for me(meeting a native speaker who's serious in language exchange), but it's ok haha, i love playing lol and ive met loads of Korean there 😹 made some few close friends and still in touch up to now!

I have a Korean friend I met on a popular game, We talked for some time and he was funny and just really great to talk with. But he hasn't been on since, which is fine but I still send him texts and positive vibes like "Have a great day!" I kinda miss him and I wanna talk to him and just talk about our day, He's the only person I talk to *online* LoL , Mostly I just go on to see if he's on. *No I don't like him he just has an amazing personality*

I wanna make friends with korean to communicate and learn korean well cause its better when you have korean who you can talk to its more convinient I could also teach him/her english and tagalog(filipino national language) and bisaya(my hometowns native language)

I downloaded hellotalk and sent DMs to some Korean people my age (most people were like 10-14 years old but i found some with same age as mine 😆). Some of them replied too and their bios were like they also want online friends from various regions so they were ready to be friends with me. Now it has been a few days since I downloaded the app and it is always me who texts first (i dont really mind that) but whenever i initiate a conversation they always give short replies. Like they don't make any efforts to continue the conversation. If i ask any question they'll just answer shortly. It looks like they are not interested in talking. So I wanted to know if Koreans really don't want to talk or it's just their reserved nature?
