The honda civic manual swap begins! Today marks the 1st real day of putting in mad work getting the civic ready for its new manual transmission, along with hints at some new merch and future plans for the upcoming week!

For all the Honda guys planning to do this but daily their car. You can start off by installing the manual pedals. Just don't wire up the clutch safety majjigie. That way you can still start the car without pressing the clutch. You will be able to drive the car as you normally would in the meantime. The pedals are the hardest part. After that, it's an 8-9 hour job and very straight forward.
I remember the plug in that was Into the whole auto shifter piece the plugin i had to run a short jumper wire into both holes for it to turn over.
@@jordanclark1715 for prelude and accord, I just jumped the connected under the driver side dash. I've never worked on a civic, but if assume it's almost the same thing.

To take the cable off there's a cover on the transmission remove the cover there's a 10mm bolt that is holding the cable
Use motor oil on your lugs. Will prevent rust and wont create a negative effect to your torque.

So I'd say about a 50 grand... Electro-hydraulic multi-plate 9 speed, seamless semi-automatic clutch... And this will decimate all at Race Wars

@@cronicjointpain1 I totally agree with you. We just moved in about a month ago. Major oversight on my part. If my suburban wasn't down with a bad fuel pump it wouldn't be as much of an issue. That thing is getting fixed asap.
@@ae86hachi Yeah that would definitely help you out. My Grandma always had a ton of food in the house. LOL she had a huge freezer in the basement and shelves of canned and dry foods.
She was just a massive cook though so she always had tons of leftovers. But I've noticed people from older generations and people that live in the Country or remote areas do that a lot.
Just good sense. Plus you can save a lot of money if you do it right and be prepared for any emergency.
That suburban would definitely help too.

I've done the axles multiple multiple times with only removing the lower ball joint
you should do a wire tuck while doing the swap

Was looking back on the old videos and I remember watching the whale 🍆 intake and you didn’t talk about the metal lines that is welded together. It’s the air lines and I just pick up one and not sure do I just have to remove all and add new lines? Just asking for help. Keep up the videos and hope to see more of your rides. 🙌🏼

Just the basic factory 5 speed manual trans will be fine, you’ll need an auto to manual conversion motor mount to fit the trans, a manual ECU, manual shift linkage, clutch kit, new flywheel bolts, clutch pedal, master cylinder and slave cylinder, manual starter and I think that’s it

With the shift box all I did was loop one wire and run another wire to the engine bay to the tranny for the reverse lights that's all I did
