One thing I'll give Collete points for...she's not afraid to get in there, get dirty and get the work done. Nice to see that she takes an active role in the hard work involved with these mods.
Definitely not affraid when that hoist has no feet on it to hold the car in place properly 😂😂😂
The E36 drift king and queen are reigning the compound
Two things I’ve learned from E36’s.
One- the getrag is extremely weak. I went through 3 not drifting before going to a zf.
Two- if you do the hard trans mounts you must do matching or harder engine mounts.
The movement allowed by the motor will twist on the trans mounts and break ears off the transmission.
Amazing advice, everybody needs to see this before touching a 36
Great advice, been there done that... zf is a good upgrade but everyone i know including me have moved over to the gs6 platform

Manual swapping my e46 M3 was a million times worth it! The SMG is a pain in the arse and the manual works everytime 🤙🏽

Collette you should've ran the compound course & got a Base line Time? looked like you need fresh Motor Mounts!! Next, better Brakes, Tires & a (small) Turbo, lol!! might want to change the rear gear oil?

the manual swap seems like a lot of hard work but definitely worth it in my opinion! Great work Collete and team on the E36 so far! itll be ripping in no time

Great manual swap guys. You have to bleed the slave cylinder under a vacuum. Otherwise, it will not work! Dutch regards Nico.

so getrag does not like abuse, mine is m50 stock power stock tune ran on 195/50/15 with a welded 2.91 rear and at osw i clutch kicked second to oblivion. now i am zf. its worth the extra money.
Same. Went through 3 getrags before zf swapping.
Fun fact, I actually ran a zf5 clutch/pressure plate on my Getrag in my e46 😂
Cleanest drift missile in the compound...until someone puts the first tire marks on the door...Ebisu..Florida style!
I just broke the carrier bearing bolts in my magnum when i granaded my driveshaft 😢

for those old cars, get a induction heater so you will never brake any exhaust bolts again.
I mean you could have used the Saws-all mod on that break pedal =P

95% its the nipple not cut off the brake fluid resivoir? the auto 46s came with the nipple not cut.
Like the budget build idea, any chance you will share the numbers along the way or at the end of what it took? Then, one up Adam and his paint job. Maybe a rattle can party or paint ball it??? Keep wrenching!

So I am confused as to why ask her to give you the costs, when she did? The timing of the questions is irrelevant. At 2:36 she says it was $2500 then the parts to manual swap were less then $1000. Do you need her to break down every single price for every part number? Add another $1000 for the pedals, shifter, handbrake second hand seat and whatever other nick nacks she replaced. It's not that hard to work out?

I'm a manual person but ill admit I loved my e36 325 coupe with auto way more than I ever thought I would.
Three pedals are sick but the technology in auto trans nowadays make them damn near unbeatable.

a master cylinder must be bled before putting in the car. look up bench bleeding.
The bottom is not full restoration it’s full cover up from the rust lol 😂😂😂😂😂 I’m not hating just commenting but I love the videos
