Great piece of kit. Just got mine today (jan2020). Worked right out of the box. Reeks of quality from the packing to the actual product. You will be amazed at the actual packing of the product. Any company that places that much effort into making sure the product gets there intact deserves your custom. Seriously. The whole kit if you buy that ( at 1/3 the price of trackIR) comes with everything you need. The camera and monitor clip and the actual LED clip itself. Cables are long enough unlike my headset cables. Great piece of kit for what you pay.
@@normannobrot Still need the LED head units attached to your head. I attach mine to the side of the headphones with zip ties. Ive moved up to a trackIR 5 now but still use the delanclip LED unit.
would you mind sharing your exact setting for each curve?, I followed Grim Reapers tutorial (they are awesome) but I wanted to fine tune it... I am very dyslexic, that's why I ask for it, thanks in advance
This is about ten years late, but I just noticed again, the camera microphone was on for the playstation (ps3camera), the one that ships with delanclip in M.S. settings. Not sure if this causes a delay in DCS world in anyway, but the mic in on by default. My delanclip wired works great in almost one year!
is perfect...100% i have it for 2 years and is exactly the same as trackIr but for a fraction of the price, is actually disgusting how much the original track Ir is asking ...200 bucks, what a joke, when you buy Delanclip you pay 70 bucks, thats it, once again it does 100% the same job, the one i bough has a playstation camera the mic of the camera doesn't work but isn't made to work anyways, you just need a camera that recognizes those 3 infrared lights thats it
Can you do a test for me? Look straight at a MFD, zoom in so it fills the whole screen and keep your head standing still for 20seconds. It will tell you a lot about the resolution of it. I am looking at replacing the TrackIR4 because when I zoom at an MFD and keep my head still it will wander off the MFD because of lack of resolution. TrackIR5 seems to be better. If you could, please also do the same thing but for the buttons on your lower left and right legs. Remember, if you are moving your head around then it doesnt count, only if you keep your head absolutely still. Thank you so much.
Apologies, I did test it way back, but one thing or the other drove it from my mind.. I zoomed in on the MFD - I didn't notice any wandering off and it all seemed quite clear and steady. Note: I'm not an expert with Track IR type devices, so whether or not I performed the test exactly to your test enquiries, is difficult to know; it did all appear to perform quite well and steady though.

VR tracks PERFECTLY, its really a thing of beuty. Having a trackir type device that tracks perfectly would still be useful sometimes. So, still on the lookout
You'll have to wear a sensor on the side of your headphones or similar - this is a better option if you're interested in the Delan kit: th-cam.com/video/SJZsWxg0UTA/w-d-xo.html
Huddison and don’t forget to mention the possibility of motion sickness on the vr side.. inverted positions are hard to handle for the brain in normal up to down gravity situations. (Your body feels that you are sitting normal but your eyes are seeing an upside down world) And the sensitivity to motion sickness is a lottery, better to try it first somewhere before buying the thing. But i have to agree that vr is a higher level of realism if you can handle it. One more vital thing is that vr is much more performance hungry since it renders through 2 cameras simultaneously. And it is hard to find any keyboard key, mouse or anything else while vr headset is on. (You are completely blind for the surroundings)

I had to uninstall DCS, due to making enough room for FS2020. When I get a new M.2 SSD, I'll keep your request in mind😉

You actually don't move your head around that much when using it, just slightly from side to side (and vastly when quickly looking behind you ;)

I dont know about this situation, but the height of camera or chair can make some differences, and the rotation settings for sure.
