Chanel started sending me small gifts right after my first purchase at 31 rue cambon and they continued to send me gifts for my birthday and Christmas :) even if I wasn’t purchasing anything for months.
I’m obsessed with my new Chanel 5 hair mist. Love it for after shower and on my pillowcase. Sometimes I just pick up the bottle and take a sniff. Love it! I’m thinking of getting Gabrielle hair mist. I found out the N5 is limited edition. Does that mean it will be discontinued hmm 🤔 so glad I grabbed it! I love my frosted bottle that sits beautifully on my vanity desk. I want to order another perfume but haven’t which one yet because I pretty much have all the ones I wear.
I can't believe Chanel put sunflower oil in their oil. lol Let us know how it absorbs into the hair/skin. I believe you that it smells wonderful. I would LOVE to try it out! Oils are so luxurious and beneficial at the same time. Good tips Dakob. ♥💜🧡
They use more refined oils in their facial Jasmine Oil in 50ml. But this big bottle of body and hair oil is based on sunflower oil. What is the problem with sunflower oil though?
@@SuperDacob I've purchased a lot of oils that didn't absorb well into hair/skin that had Sunflower oil in the beginning of the ingredient list. but i'm not a chemist, could be the formulation of the product that determines its efficacy regardless of that one ingredient I haven't had success with in the past... I'm not sure. I am surprised they didn't go for argan or jojoba oil instead. And maybe it depends on the sunflower oil, maybe there are different grades or different ways it's processed. I am curious to see if it leaves your hair oily. I think our hair texture is a little similar. Say for instance it didn't work on your hair but worked great on your skin, I would consider that a win being that it smells amazing. I personally really like those pure smelling fragrances myself.
My Chanel SA at my local beauty boutique is so nice. I don’t even buy that much, I’m more of the type that comes back twice a month to get a lip product or a eyeshadow quad, but recently I just purchased the Coco body oil and a ultra tenue liptint and she put them in such a nice box and gave me skincare freebies. 😊 When I came back to get the holiday eyeshadow, she gave me foundation samples. 😊
Darling I know you love these kind of snippets……My sources within Heathrow have told me that a new kind of 3D scanner being trialled as we speak will allow all liquids in sizes over 100 ml to be carried on the aircraft in hand baggage so no more 75ml les ex!!!!❤️
Also, l’huile douce is really the best! The new body oils you said that will come soon where you are are massage oils so they are not really for multi use oil like l’huile douce which you can also use for hair and more nourishing. Only that they all have different mouth for easier applications. (Just my personal preference 😊)
My Chanel SA and I are thick as thieves. No matter what I buy, she gives me every freebie she can. I have bottles-worth of perfume samples from her, so many multi-tier freebies. She's so generous, and it works. I buy way more than I would because of our relationship.

How much did you pay for the gentle oil Dacob? I was thinking of buying the Jasmine body oil, although very expensive (195 Euro). I've recently bought the No5 body oil for 89 Euro so I'm wondering why so expensive...
Its so expensive because Chanel charges luxury prices for their brand and packaging. Its that brutal and simple. We pay for the dream. The les exclusifs body oil costs different in different countries that have different currencies. In Europe the price would be around 150 euro more or less for 250ml of les exclsuifs huile douce. 💖
@@SuperDacob of course, we pay for luxury, but I wondered about the price difference between these two very similar products; I wondered if the supposedly bit more jasmine oil in the formula justifies the 100 Euro difference. I'll probably buy it anyway because i absolutely love jasmine (good ones are hard to find; Dior, I'm looking at you!) but yeah, asking never hurts :).

Seriously, another price increase? I only purchase perfume and some beauty products from Chanel. I don't think I buy that much, but I do tend to purchase Les Exclusifs. I have found sales associates very attentive and generous.
I purchased the limited edition Sublimage coffret - my Beauty SA had to have another store fulfill my order as she sold hers. After spending $$$$, my gift was two 5ml Sublimage samples. REALLY?!?
