it increases the crit chance wth a multiplier, not added. its like the aux cores. +20% dont add 20% it multiplies it, just like the boost by dahlia when you use her in chain attacks. yes, she will still crit ALOT but its not 93%
yes, I have 60% on her with the aux core and that would mean I would heal on every single attack on max affinity. I prefer to judge from that rather than the damage numbers and some attacks dont get me heals. so i am quite sure its multiplicative and not additive
Mighty_Rathalos So I got curious and decided to do a bit of testing, I grabbed a common ether cannon I had lying around and gave her a spiral chip for a measly 3% crit rate. I put a maxed fiora on a diffrent party member and fougjt relentless arduran. If fioras ability was a multiplier I would only have a ~5% crit rate (counting the 1.3 max affinity crit rate bonus) yet I was critting every other hit, so I think its additive since that would give me a ~56% crit rate. It's very simple to test it out yourself of you want to.
its odd then why it doesnt show me green numbers on every attack though then. I used Fiora solo on monsters to test that. and auoattacks should crit as much as skills would. anyway, if it does then the tachion would be immensely stronger as well as some other blades I have becoming ALOT more usefull now
This DLC introduces what I am dubbing the "Super-Superbosses". Harder versions of the already existing Superbosses. Ardanian Kurodil, The Cloud Sea King Ken one, and Chickenheart, and probably a few more I am forgetting. They are all hard as fuff, and I have yet to beat em.
Fiora is really broken. Every special attack heals the Team or yourself and every crit makes the damage of the next crit higher. I am so glad that she is a blade because she was my favourite character in XC 1. I think that she is a bit stronger than shulk (when you run a pure crit team) every party member gets a crit bonus at max. affinity and that combined with morag and kassandra will give morag for example a free heal of 30% of the damage she deals. Fiora is so good
Captain goddamn Levi Shulk is great for pure evasion teams. Mythra's foresight gives a plus 50% to team evasion and accuracy while Shulk's monado speed give 40% to team evasion and accuracy. If you put Mikhail on your third member, that party member would get a 135% boost to evasion and a 90% boost to accuracy in total.
Louie Satterwhite yeah its really op. It is so much fun to make new strategies so it is more challenging. I love how every blade has its unique character and function so they can all still work together. Damn i love this game. Hopefully, there will be a third one
Will you be doing guides for the harder challenges? Such as the ‘fiercest faction’ or MK VII challenges? For ya more less advanced players? As you did the superboss’s

she was released on friday. so its 4 days. depending on your timezonen but she can easily be maxed unlike shulk who needs to be present for first 10 challenges and then later 30 again. if you already have the power setup to rush the key challenges. + easy mode on the challenges counts for the chart too if you have trouble

The level 5 challenge took me days to beat. I just could not find a way to deal with autobarrel and everything else it throws at you. I tried using the orb master start which doesn;t work because he killed me too quickly. I finally found the amazing chain attack spam strat with shulk to cancel out awakening and fiora for that crazy party gauge build up. I don't think you showed which difficulty you chose for this but judging by how quickly the HP bar fell, it must be easy. If this was on normal, then it is insane how much damage your were doing. it took me nearly 23 mins to beat him on normal and on easy, i managed to beat him before the phase 3 even happened which was cathartic to say the least.
Wait, so does Warrior Valkyrie add an extra 40% to the blades crit rate or add 40% of the blades crit rate like Aux Cores do? I've seen a lot of conflicting info on which one it is. I need to know if Moon Matter Mythra+Crit Up V has a 94% chance to crit or a 75% chance to crit.
Nn Li No its additive. I was using it with a low crit blade and they were getting crits more consistently. Heck I did some extra testing with Pandora and it was definitely more than 28%
I didnt use Fiora cuz I didnt build her. I was focusing on Shulk tbh. But for this battle Telos was my saving grace. I just used her 4th special to negate the ability that can inflict Doom, and the other big FU attack

SaarGreninja it means elemental awakening and it happens because you put an orb on them. It makes them resistant to that element. You want to use Shulk's Monado Purge to get rid of it.
Hey does anyone know if Fioras skill tree ability that ups party crit rate by 40 percent when at max affinity stays active when you switch to a different blade.For instance if I'm Rex and using Fiora at max affinity if I switched to telos would that skill still be active or would I have to switch back to her for it to work again? I would really appreciate someone telling me because it doesn't tell you on the skill tree.
Since I refuse to use Rex, I play Fiora on Nia. Combining Crit. Recharge and Nias autoattack combo with the Omega Drive makes a very consistent Chainattack spam. And while I know that other builds might be more useful, I gave her the critical boost for 100% crit rate (just because its possible). Yet the Wind-element might be the worst about her for me since I like building my Party around every Element and Driver combo so that, if possible, I can generate 8 orbs at once for maximum satisfaction. Hard mode please, enemies die too fast
Jannes Boehm Moon Matter Chip starts off with 60%. Plus 20% via Aux Core adds up to 72% crit rate. Fioras Warrior Valkyrie grants another 40% which makes it a total of 72*1.4=100.8% total crit rate

Although screw edge is 4 hits, I like her on Nia even though it hits 2 times you have a team heal art and fiora has an almost guaranteed crit.rate

N1ghtKn1ght498 her 40% percent is actually additive. You don't need an aux core, you reach 100% with moon matter at max affinity
