man i bought a controller with auto turbo just for this....i'll buy everything i can start 2 long merc missions then start pouching with auto turbo on the A button then set the controller down and go watch tv for an about an hour
Love your videos, very informative. I would like to share with all the icing on the cake for these great tips because so far I haven't noticed anyone else using my technique. Buy a cheap $20 non wireless switch controller that has turbo function (Amazon sells one licensed by nintendo) get your self some decent tape ( I use non residue duct tape because it's very stong like $6 bucks for a roll at home depot) follow the setup in this video and tape down the A button on your turbo controller to auto spam away while you do whatever in the meantime and save your fingers in the process. You'll be quite happy you did
Great guide dude. I'll begin by maxing dev for the rest of the titans and finish the merc missions required then maxing few blades' trust. Gotta start farming gold afterwards cuz this wil get me broke in no time.
This is the only thing that bothers me about XBC2, the grinding for this stuff and the huge number of total grindings to get everything is insane! I have a lot of blades with full affinity charts, specially the main ones but I still have more than a few that needs to be completed and to increase their trust to 9K is just mind blowing. There's like 30+rare blades... I'm at 200 hours in and in Chapter 9. Not to mention that I still haven't unlocked Kos-mos, Newt and the goth looking blade... I've used dozens of Legendary core crystals with justice boosted all the way with Zeke and still getting no Kos-Mos. They either should've decreased the number of trust points or use a more effective method of increasing these and obtaining rare blades.

Gonna speak a novel idea, in this idea, you don't need to unlock everything in order to enjoy the game. So, you unlock every rare blades affinity chart? Then what? Did you play with all of them equally to beat the game? Have you utilized their certain attributes gained from unlocking an affinity spot to have a better advantage in the game? The Developers didn't create the game for you to unlock every single character and unlock all of their affinities in one play though. It's random for a reason. It's so you play a new game and have a random rare blade that you play through.
Great vid! If you love XC2 as much as I do (and have the spare money) I can recommend getting a controller with a turbo-function! Then you can just hold A instead of having to mash it! It's worth it in the long run, especially if you aim to get S+ trust with every blade :'D
For some reason I decided to buy every single item from shops (Except weapon, cylinders, etc.) from all areas in the game and used them up on Mythra, KOS-MOS, and Shulk, they went from S to S6. I still recommend doing the strategy shown in the video though.

It's nice to see this explained. I had that figured out on my own except for the trust gains of those items in Fonsett. I was going about it the cheapest way by going to Torigoth and buying all pouch items from all shops there that were under 100 Gold apiece, so as to save Gold, but the gains were more along the lines of 10 to 12 trust apiece, so that process was slower. But now that I have all the gold I want after a 170 hours, I shall just do this instead. It seems to me that you can cancel the dialogue spoken by a character if you mash enough the A button that you press it before the line of dialogue is played? But I'm not sure about that, so don't take my word for it.

Rare blades also get trust from completing mercenary missions, they won´t unlock their skills as easily as common ones, but it´s better than having them doing nothing

Is this ever mentioned anywhere in the game? The only thing I found out without using TH-cam was to go into battle against a fairly strong enemy and hopefully get 10 Trust Points. Seemed like Merc. Missions didn't do that much either...
You can only get +30 item capacity overall. However, certain items start off with you being able to hold 3, and others 10. Therefore some will have a max of 33 and others 40!
Thanks a lot. Another question. I just need 3 more blades. Kosmos, Dahlia and Zenobia. Rex luck skill ist at 999 and i tried about 500 core cristals. Lot if them rare and about 40 legendary. No match at all. Is it still possible to get rare blades with Rex?? For about 80 to 100 hours now there was nothing then useless blades...
I managed to get all the rare blades in game and I think Legendary and Rare core crystals don't do much. Out of all the awakened rare blades I got, only two of them were from Rare core crystals, while all the rest were from common crystals. Just use as many crystals as possible.
Fictitious Figurines Take a look at the blade status and it should show up where they have their modifier shown. To be fair though, I did the math and it should take about 4 hours or so per 3 blades with this method if you average 4.5s per item if you go with the 18 trust items, or 3 hours and 36 minutes with the 21 trust items.
Doing Cubing in my experince: yes If you do give them pouch items after you are done with the affnity chart for the blades it will go to s rank immedatly. But i suggest to completely the affnity charts for blades first
Trust ranks are locked and unlocked as you unlock their AC levels, then again, nothing bad happens if you give them items before maxing their Affinity Chart, they store the trust for SX ranks

From what I know, liking an item provides no special bonus. It is only for filling out the affinity chart, ie, when a blade wants you to use 2 or 4 of their favourite pouch item to fill out a node.
There are several NPC who tell you that using favourite items improves battle performance or "fills you with energy" (that's from an NPC BEFORE YOU BECOME A DRIVER) so there's probably some kind of bonus, but what that bonus is I don't know. I also don't know exactly what the Luck stat does aside from its use in resonance, but it appears to be affecting the HP potions being pulled out of enemies, since I get 2 of them pretty much all the time and sometimes get ones bigger than "small", possibly because I keep forgetting to change Nia's equipped gear after using my Core Crystals, so she's got +27 (I think, it's about that much anyway) and +31% (really need to upgrade that to +32%, since I have that, unless I already have and forgot that I did) on her Luck instead of somthing more useful.
@@alexstewart9592 I think Luck benefits you in Core Cristal opening, I had my Zeke to have like, 800 luck, and pulled Patroka, Perdido and Sever almost at the same time
however even though you are grinding from a s1 to s+ do you get a blade notification telling you you went from s1 to s+ because this grinding looks like hard work until it say something on the screen
So even though you farm crappy core crystals until you get to the good ones even the crappy ones could get a s one to s plus interest cuz I'm working on my 14/14 infinity chart knuckle healer that I equipped to rex just maxed out the affinity chart giving her weak ass textiles when I forgot when you go by chapter 4 inside of Titan you come across stronger textiles
I'm pretty sure I messed up somewhere along the way -- I can only hold 33 lifestyle items at once instead of 40. I do own the deeds to all 3 of the stores you mentioned, so I'm stumped. Is there something I missed?
No you got them all! Each deed gives you +10 item capacity. Some item types allow you to hold 10 initially, bumping you up to a final of 40. Some item types allow you to hold 3 initially, meaning you'd only ever go to 33. Weird system the game has :p

Hshadow G buy a shitton of items there and dev level blows up. You can buy like 99 golden cylinders and get the first 4 stars in one go. Salvaging also raises the level, and ironically, salvaging is how you make the money in the first place. Most people just buy a shitton of these cylinders, then sell them and buy again.
If you already have a dev level 5 area, just buy 99 golden cylinders for 5,000G each, then go to the area you need to get Dev level in and sell then for 5,000G. therefore getting all of your money back.
Ok so i was on a mission that needed Nopon wisdom level 3 and it wasn't unlocked yet so i thought i had to do the other things like a Driver Combo which i still don't know how to do but then i saw you just needed more trust and i wasted like 5 hours trying to do that
Its pretty simple, you see the trust level in the afinity chart, then you use an item and see how much it increases, example: Trust level: 4322 *Uses item* Trust level: 4343

How do you raise the item capacity to 40? It seems that getting the 3 deeds raises the max for noponchos to 33 instead of 40

You should be able to still get the rare blades. I would say ditch the rare cores and stick to Legendary Core crystals exclusively!

Thanks a lot. Earlier the version I heard is that the item your blade likes will add 18 and any other items add 12. Apparently it's wrong.

So is trust limited by how far affinity chart is opened? For example with roc I have been feeding him tons of food and he won't grow past c lvl trust.
Roc requires you to increase Merc level not trust

if you give an item to a blade that likes the item twice for exemple Final Chorus on mythra they will get 15 trust per item instead of 9

I'm pretty sure I messed up somewhere along the way -- I can only hold 33 lifestyle items at once instead of 40. I do own the deeds to all 3 of the stores you mentioned, so I'm stumped. Is there something I missed?
No you got them all! Each deed gives you +10 item capacity. Some item types allow you to hold 10 initially, bumping you up to a final of 40. Some item types allow you to hold 3 initially, meaning you'd only ever go to 33. Weird system the game has :p

What's the best strategy to raise development for each titan?
Hshadow G buy a shitton of items there and dev level blows up. You can buy like 99 golden cylinders and get the first 4 stars in one go.
Salvaging also raises the level, and ironically, salvaging is how you make the money in the first place.
Most people just buy a shitton of these cylinders, then sell them and buy again.

Quill i just found out that selling a whole crap ton also raises development
If you already have a dev level 5 area, just buy 99 golden cylinders for 5,000G each, then go to the area you need to get Dev level in and sell then for 5,000G. therefore getting all of your money back.
Ok so i was on a mission that needed Nopon wisdom level 3 and it wasn't unlocked yet so i thought i had to do the other things like a Driver Combo which i still don't know how to do but then i saw you just needed more trust and i wasted like 5 hours trying to do that

Open the affinity chart. The left-most icons should show you the amount of trust you currently have, and how much is needed to unlock that row
Its pretty simple, you see the trust level in the afinity chart, then you use an item and see how much it increases, example:
Trust level: 4322
*Uses item*
Trust level: 4343
