Thanks for the insight in to SIMRAD. Ive have Simrad sounder in my Barra boat up here in the NT for quite sometime as I wanted more clarity over everything else. I Purchase a couple of years back a Simrad Evo 3 16 inch to upgrade the old Evo 2. With EXTRA WARRENTY. I would put in in my car religiously during travel given what they cost then fit it to the boat at the ramp. 12 months before the warranty ran out , it had something rattling around in the Sounder housing so took it back in to the place of purchase. I had a call from the place of purchase, and there reply to me was that NAVIONCS DO NOT REPAIR SOUNDERS UNDER WARRENTY BUT OFFER A REPLACEMENT AT A FEE ! That Fee is $4000 dollars ! THIS IS NOT WARRENTY ! Future Purchases be aware as NAVIONICS WILL RIP YOU OFF IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR SOUNDER UNDER WARRENTY AND NOT REPAIR IT BUT OFFER YOU A NEW ONE WITH MONEY FROM YOUR POCKET ! That's FACT plain and simple from here in the NT and I will NEVER EVER purchase anothor Sounder from Lowrance or Simrad who Manufacture these two sounders to be ripped off like this. Food for thought for Anyone watching and absolutely nothing against your video mate, BUT this is the full truth of what they are doing to Customers buying Sounders from them so every one is Clear before looking at a Purchase.
Hi. I have just received my new boat with 2 x 9” EVO 3S MFDs networked via NMEA 2K. I have the 3/1 Ducer and TM275LHW Ducer installed. My plan is to eventually head out offshore, but for now just learning how to use the setup in PPB. What chirp range is best for PPB with the 275 Ducer? How to ensure I have defined properly both ducers on the networked setup? I have horizontal lines showing up on the MFD for the 275 Ducer screen when at rest but ok when underway. Possible causes of this? Cameron

Hey mate watched ur vid good info my nss12 seems to not be leaving a track I most likely messed with a setting how can I fix it cheers
Hey mate, love the vid. Any recommendations for finding Westernport Snapper using an Evo3 w/ a P-66 Transducer on 50khz?
Same tuning applies. Keep it all bog stock and just adjust the gain. At night take it right down as the water gets filthy and filled with crap.
