I could see him saying "I will disturb you" to American, and that American being like "Oh, no, you're not disturbing me. I'm happy to see you! C'mon in!"
Suzuki: Hello, Tanaka-san. Sorry to intrude. Tanaka: Suzuki-san, welcome. Please come in. Suzuki: Thank you. I appreciate your hospitality today. Tanaka: Likewise, thank you for coming. Are you hungry, Suzuki-san? Suzuki: Thank you. Actually, I am a bit hungry, so that helps. Tanaka: That's good to hear. By the way, what are we discussing today? Suzuki: I wanted to talk about a new business project. Since you have a wide network, I thought you could provide me with various information. Tanaka: Yes, I do have a wide network, so I think I can be of help. Suzuki: Thank you very much, Tanaka-san. Tanaka: Not at all, Suzuki-san. Like this!😂
@@kensolojapa Wide face = wide network 😅😅😅 I was wondering what's with the corelation with 'wide face' 😅😅 Btw, he asked whether he's hungry, but no snacks provided?
I have seen it somewhere If English was spoken like Japanese it should be like this: " I, from the restaurant accross the supermarket, the food I saw, want to eat." 「私はスーパーの向かいにあるレストランで見た食べ物を食べてみたいです。」 That aside, this is a great joke! 😂 Like お邪魔します (Ojamashimasu). In English subtitles it is usually "Sorry for the intrusion" but it literally translates as "I will disturb you". I didn't know about wide face thingy 😂
I Hardly understand any Japanese, but i've noticed that before. Especially if you just see the 1:1 translation of lyrics to basically any anime opening. I can only describe it as very "old school" or "poetic" even. Much less like an "ordinary" song text and much more like a medieval or ancient poem. It's a little bit of a culture shock honestly, because the literal translation into any other language essentially, can make the whole ordeal sound very awkward, since it's just something no one would ever seriously say nowadays. It's quite an intriguing topic though.
So... Japanese people speak like oblivion NPCs and we had no idea all this time? Also, I think I'm just going to start all conversations with: "Hello [name of the person], I will disturb you."

If Japanese spoke in English, it is outside down. However of my mother language, it is all in correct order so in other words, it is easy to learn Japanese.
A lot of Japanese phrases tend to have the literal meanings that would make no sense in English, I’m learning the language お邪魔します, means literally I’ll hinder you,I believe, but it’s a greeting used when entering someone’s house

You mean not the literal translation but what is meant
That is proper translation. What you are looking for is the interpretation 😊
