Thank you for this podcast, i am n5 level and i could understand everything because you talked slowly without using difficult words and you also repeated phrases, thank youuuu 😭
Same here! I can understand 95% and am sooo happy. But when it comes to speaking... It's a different story. So glad to find resources like this catering to beginners. Really thoughtful and well done. Thank you! Just started listening to your podcasts on Spotify as well. Just one thing... Could you enable English cc on the TH-cam videos? 😅
I completed N5 and recently started N4. This is the first time I could understand a whole conversation. I never knew that I could understand a whole conversation. Now I feel way more confident than before. Thank you.❤
I have listened to so many podcasts and only when I listen to Shun's then i feel more encouraged. He used simple enough words, spoke at a good pace and also articulate everything very clearly. I feel that my studying paid off when I come to his channels, whereas when I tried other podcasts, it leaves me defeated. Thank you Shun for your good work.
I swear this guy deserves so much, dude thank you so much you are helping hundreds of people with these videos, I hope u continue with them and I hope your channels grows more to the point you will be helping thousands. I already said this in other video but imo this channel is a must know when learning japanese I will defenitly recomend this to everyone I know who is learning japanese.
Thank you so much for this comment! This is amazing to hear from people like you. I hope also to grow more and help lots of more Japanese learners. I appreciate your comment and recommending to your friends;) Thank you so much again!!
Thank you so much for the comment. Ya I wish I could but I don't know the way and take too much time so now I am doing this way, but hopefully in the future:)
I just love the way Japanese people speak to each other 😁😁😁 the constant interjections (いいですね, はい, そうですね and そうですか) are so wholesome, you don't get that in English 😭😭 Anyway, makes me even more determined to become fluent in Japanese so I can speak like this too 😁😁😁🤣🤣 Thank you as always Shun-sensei 🙏
Thanks for supporting to basic level students😊. I am student of N5 and i could able to get every and each words of your. And really request you to be a live once on TH-cam.
Thanks so much for the amazing video, you guys did all the right things for beginners. You spoke slowly, graded your language and most importantly…no background music. I think you and this girl have great chemistry I hope you can do more videos together. Thanks again for the quality and care. I really appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
im about at the level to pass n4 and constantly forcing myself through difficult things, its nice sometimes to listen to relatively easy things and feel good about myself once in a while
Gramaticall, I am technically level B1, since I passed the exam. However, my listening skills are so bad. It's somehow very hard for me to follow a conversation. When I read the same text, it's no problem at all. But this vlog playlist is 1st more intersting than just audio, and 2nd so much easier to understand. It's a little bit too easy for me, but the experience is still great. It's very motivating, even tho I still have to force myself not to read along sometimes. Thank you for these videos, truly a great help!
Yes! Listening and reading and writing are very different skill! I’m glad you found my channel and hope you can get better at your listening with my channel ;)

Aaaaaah, thank you so much Shun! What a lovely conversation. Didn't realize it is you - listened to your podcasts already on Spotify! What a pleasure. I'm almost N4 and could understand everything. Keep up the good work :D
Hi Shun, Usually, I listen to your podcasts on Spotify. I have to say that I really love your podcasts. It helps me so much... Thank you very much for all this work. I have just discovered this video and I love it too. I'm learning Japanese at evening school (I'm working the whole day so...). I passed the JLPTN5 last July. I hope I will be able to pass the JLPTN4 next year. I recommended your podcasts to my classmates. By the way, I'm from Belgian (I'm half French half Belgian) so my mothertongue is French (that's why my English is way from perfect ^^). PS : I understood nearly everything (there were just 2 words I didn't know).
Thank you so much! I am glad you found my podcast useful;) And welcome to my YouRube videos! Plus congratulations for passing N5. One big breakthrough. Spreading my channel to your friends will be my huge support!!! Thank you so so much!!!!
ありがとうしうんっさん!It's so much work to do all the subtitles on top of the recording itself. I really felt like I was taking part in a simple Japanese conversation and I could understand quite a lot. This is great for learning in context and reinforcing what we have all already learnt at N5 level! :) The sound level was quite low (I was listening through headphones with the volume on full and I would have liked it a bit louder.....Maybe I'm going deaf in my old age :)) ). Looking forward to the next conversation!
Thank you so much for the comment! I feel rewarding to hear that:P I will try to enhance the sound level! I will try to keep up posting!! Thank you for listening to my videos:)
i am now currently practicing my reading and listening skills in nihonggo, and gladly i bump into one of your videos, this will help me a lot :) thanks2x
I love it! The words I pick up this way really stuck in my mind. I learned words like: たのし なるほど ひとりで Thank you so much! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend! ☺️
Thank you so much, I could understand almost of them. I also listed down some words which I am unfamiliar with for I am still at n5. Great content! Helps a lot! ありがとうございます! ☺️

Thanks 🙏 this is great 👍 Out of curiosity, how much is this conversation close to a « real »one? I mean you have probably adapted it to N5-N4, would that conversation be very different if you were not doing this video?
You have made a wonderful video tutorial to understand the basic Japanese conversation very nicely. I really highly appreciate for your hard work and helping non-Japanese speakers to learn this language more effectively.

Hi I got a little confused with
飲みたい思います. Does that mean I think I want to drink? Or is it just another way of saying? 飲みたいです?

It literally means "I think I want to drink"
So it's just basically another way (but more polite) of saying "I would like to drink".
