- Some of the opportunities that you get when bowhunting deer are very particular and we aim to help you make the best decision when choosing a broadhead tip to put on your hunting arrow. We also talk situations and shot angles on deer and give examples of what has worked for us at The Element.

I switched from a fixed blade to the mechanical blade ( Swacker) last season. Dropped a doe in her tracks at 25 yards and a " unihorn" spike at 22 yards. He ran 10 yards maybe and dropped. I'll stick with Swacker. They are normally available at almost every Walmart. Thanks for all the info. Good video. 👍👍✌
Love the passthrough kills with those expandables! Everyone seems to think you won’t ever get another pass through shot if you shoot a mechanical but I’ve had nothing but positive experiences shooting a 2 blade rage. A great tuned bow is another huge factor in getting good performance out of mechanicals.
Awesome video!! From my position in the archery industry, it’s nice to see videos that aren’t cramming one particular opinion down your throat. Grim reapers all the way!
Awesome video I liked how you guys showed the options. It wasn’t a one size fits all! Didn’t tried to force one opinion down our throats!
This was a cool idea for a video. Thank you. Totally loved this.
Grim reaper whitetails are just devastating.
Keep spreading the good word! Best of luck on the upcoming season from small town southern VA
Good vid. I am trying out the evolution hyde hybrid this year too but am interested in the new vector as well.
Sevr are the best broadheads I’ve ever shot. Highly recommended
Thank you for your video and for taking the time to do your video. I wanted to clerify some facts which you didnot mention. You mention aluminum ferrule but you donot state which kind and there are many kinds alot of which are not good-we use 7075 t6 which is as tough as a mild steel. All of our broadheads have a no hassle lifetime replacement guarantee, you damage one, take a picture and email to us and we replace. Secondly our stinger broadheads are not 3 to 1. The stinger broadhead you had in the video was a 125 gr 4 blade and is 2 inches long(where it sticks out of the arrow) and is 1 1/8th wide. Last you mention vented heads make a noise and in all of our tests we have not found this to be true including the video i have attached. You can take a look at this video which shows it. Take a look at this video by the innovative sportsmen- Thank you again for your video
I've used the nap spit fire and I think they work good. Now I use muzzy 2 fixed blade and 2 mechanical.
Nice review. I use the NAP HELLRAZOR fixed blade it is a nice fixed blade head
I've used Shwacker's for several years and 2 years ago shot a doe from the front coming straight in. It ran about 25 feet. I dang near cut it in half. I sliced through 7 ribs which was just devastating.
I have had awesome luck with the qad exodus on durable and good blood trails. I’d love to try grim reapers, afflictors, iron will, sevr, and g5 deadmeats
I just bought the new 300 grain big 3 fixed blade single bevel 3 blade. MOAB of broadheads
I’ve been shooting the swhacker forever but them suckers get jacked up after 1 kill . Switched to the g5 montec and they have been working great ! ( less blood though )
KISS (Keep it simple stupid) is my mantra in the woods. For that reason a mechanical blade with moving parts just seems counterintuitive. The grizzlystik Maasai 125gs haven't failed me yet on elk or whitetail.
I'm surprised there was no 3 blade blade broadhead. Like a qad exodus, g5 montec, or grim reaper micro hades.
If you haven't tried Thorn broadheads do yourself a favor and make the switch. They are very reliable and durable, you will get more than one kill out of them and they offer a reblade service for the mechanical heads for when the blade do get dull.
I might be wrong but neither one of you showed a three blade fixed head like a muzzy, wasp ,ramcat many others like a QAD exodus? More deer have been killed with a more traditional 3 blade like a muzzy then all those you have shown combined.
