YES YES I am SOOOO Glad you finally fot around to playing this Tesseract series of songs. I LOVE how this song is building layer upon layer of sound and slowly bulds and builds and just becomes an amazing mix o/ wall of sound. Superb. One of my favorite bands that I just discovered a few years ago after being a Rush /Dream Theater fan for a long time. This album is epic and its an EAR-GASM. You need to put this on and listen to it in the dark with the light off and good headphones and just play the entire album all the way thru as a whole its like Pink Floyd's The Wall and Rush's 2112 kind of multi-part themed epic thing. WOW Everything I hear this its amazing. You need to get all 4 of their albums: One, Altered State, Odyselly / Scala, and the new one Sonder ASAP. their new singer (after this one Ashe O'Hara) left the band is Daniel Thompkins and he is even more amazing. he has the ultra low growl range and the super high falsetto range and is a vocal coach so he knows what he is doing. Tesseract is like a djent version of Rush and Dream Theater and Metallica. They are one of my favorites for sure. cant go wrong. Cant wait to see the other 2 parts of discovering this gem . enjoy! Different. At first I thought he was "Calling to Prayer" LMAO. Then it picked up. Very enjoyable. Two thumbs up for Tesseract.
Check out their stuff with Dan. The vocalist in this video (Ashe) isn't in the band anymore. Sonder is an incredible album.
This is their best album by far. They reached something transcendent with Ashe and this sort of surreal sound.
I prefer Dan Tompkins but this album as a whole is their most impressive

You guys like Yes, so I would like to see you do a reaction to the song Gates Of Delirium, from the Relayer album. It is the story of a battle, or a war. It begins with the rallying of the population and the gathering of troops, proceeds to the march to the battle and then goes into this 10 minute instrumental section where they use their instruments to make all the sounds of war...machine guns, jets overhead, glass breaking, and then goes into a part where you can envision the dust settling and the mourning of the dead. It is a total brain-fry! When I listen to it I have an actual screenplay going on in my mind.

This is not an ideal song to get into this band with in my opinion. It's not a 1 listen and like song. Impressive, but not easily digested. Tourniqet would be an easier in.
