Tesseract’s new approach to this album is still blowing my mind
This track gives me Polaris vibes big time. My mind isn’t blown yet with the 2 singles but I’m really excited for the album nonetheless. War of Being better than this I think (but it drags on)

New Vildhjarta, TesseracT, Periphery... It's 2010/2011 prog metal golden age all over again! I've discovered TesseracT with One in 2011, changed my life completely. This band will always be in the deepest part of my heart. Can't wait to hear the album in its entirety!! ❤

You need more than that to revive a musical era/scene unfortunately. Every movement has those 4-5 great pioneering artists who defined the genre and inspired everybody else in it (e.g. the guys you mentioned for djent), and those bands usually continue to release stuff and go strong even after their movement is over. For example look at Korn and Slipknot still getting millions of views long after nu metal died as a movement.
What djent needs is either new bands, or older smaller bands like Valis Ablaze, Unprocessed, Entities, Auras etc. to release new stuff, and I don't see that happening. Still, happy that new Tesseract stuff is coming.

“War of Being” kicked me pretty hard in the nuts after a few listens. This one is more song-based and more on point, I’d say. Great stuff no matter what!

While we all have favorite albums prior to this, I think we all need to appreciate the sonic landscapes Tesseract has always created. The marriage of ethereal atmosphere and intensity has always pulled me in. I think these first two singles are sounding amazing and I totally look forward to this album!

I LOVE this. I was nervous when I heard War of Being, sick as it was, it didn't hold my attention as well and I've kinda been using it as background noise. But THIS really has everything I love about Tesseract. Bouncy, intense, dreamlike, and Dan should be downright arrested for the audacity to be this good at singing hahah. This is a song I could sing in the car. This is a song I can dance with. Faith in the new album is extremely high.
