I think your list is very interesting to include current boxers for the viewers, but it's difficult to put any of them in top 10 all time. The golden era had so many legends and they are considered so because they had so many worthy opponents that defined their status. Your list includes a lot of famous names that are well known to westerners, but missing the common legends the Thai old timers mention like Namkabuan or Superlek. Veerapol is also mentioned often because of his boxing titles as well. Buakaw and saenchai has the legend status in Thailand, but otherwise the rest of the top 10 would be golden era if you asked any Thai coach. I got laughed at by the old Thai coaches when I said that yodsanklai was amazing back in like 2007 lol.

Never ceases to amaze me how people will always pick old fighters just because their parents told them. Reality is that this list is pretty good when you consider how much Muay Thai has evolved. Putting Saenchai at number 1 is very fair regardless of nostalgia merchants

On a serious note, I did take into consideration how the sport has evolved. I put Superlek at 10 because ONE is a fairly new organization and he’s IMO the #1 pfp Muay Thai fighter rn. I also did take into consideration if the eras met. Like how would they stop or put down dudes with a chin like rodtang at 135 during the golden era

@AndrewEaReal Your comment is beyond amusing, and only uneducated casuals say something so dimwitted with assumptions by deluding yourself if you think Muay Thai has "evolved".... Pfft Hahahahahahahaha Muay Thai fighters in this Era are absolute garbage. Commenting "Muay Thai has evolved" is automatic tell you're uneducated casual who has not invested in research, (at least a decade, to 8 hours each day) by gaining knowledge to at least 85% Percent of Silver Era to Golden Era to 2000 Era and This Era Yod/Nak Muays, Top Pound For Pound Yod/Nak Muays in The History Of Muay Thai, Ranking System, Styles, History and etc.
Yod/Nak Muays from The Silver Era to The Golden Era Of Muay Thai are centuries I mean centuries are ahead any current Modern Era Nak Muay, because modern Era Nak Muays will never be in Thy Top 120 Greatest Yod/Nak Muays In The History Of Muay Thai Book and will always be in the bottom barrel of washed up amateurs. This Era of Muay Thai have the least poor produced Thai To Farang Nak Muays in The History Of Muay Thai. Why? Gambler's took control of Muay Thai since late 90s when the Golden Era passed and Muay Thai changed vastly in the 2000s.
The rules changed, Majority The Top Gyms closed in the Country, meaning less produced fighters with no unique style of there own like in the Silver to Golden Era to pass on, since different Gyms from different regions in Thailand had their own unique style different one another, they started to train less since Social Media and other distractions interfere with their training, no one in this Era are actual Boxing Champions like there were in The Silver Era to the Golden Era Of Muay Thai since Yod/Nak Muays won Olympic Golden Medalist in Boxing, Won Amatuer to Professional Boxing Champion Belts after they retired from fighting in Muay Thai.
I can write a whole list of Yod/Nak Muays who became Boxing Champions like For Example: Legendary Yod/Nak Muay from Golden Age Of Muay Thai who is in Thy Top Greatest Top Pound For Pound Yod Nak Muays In The History Of Muay Thai, Multiple Time Rajadamnern Stadium Champion and WBC Boxing Champion (For 6 Years Straight he reigned as the WBC Boxing Champion) Veerapol Sahaprom... Veerapol Sahaprom is centuries ahead then everybody on painted man list except for Samart Payakaroon and Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn.

I think peak Dieselnoi is the best in a prime vs prime fight. His frame is too much of an advantage. Usually tall and skinny is weak and slow but he wasn't. But I can understand not ranking him as higher because of resume. Everyone who's fought both Baukaw and Yodsanklai said Yod is better. I think the reason why people rank Samart higher than Dieselnoi is because of style. Samart was good at everything while Dieselnoi mostly just destroyed people in the clinch and knees. There's no footage of prime Samart/Dieselnoi. I just took everyone's word that Samart is the goat but the footage of their fight changed my mind.

Samart has the best technique with the best footwork, boxing, head movement and teep of all time in Muay Thai. He was also a WBC boxing champion. If you don't believe me, have a look at the 12th round of his fight vs Juan Meza. He toys around with a world class WBC boxing champion and knocks him out. Crazy to think he did that to a boxing champion in a boxing fight where he couldn't use his ultimate weapon- the Teep.
