I have ALWAYS wondered this since i was a child!! Honestly! I know sometimes you can kinda feel it, but that's not safe & not always right.. also maybe their smell comes into play, but then their OG 💩 is still in the 🚽 so that can't be it. Melanie I understand your concern but it really doesn't, if you actually look at it, when you're at work and use the toilet then go home and shower the water is flowing down and sending any bacteria more towards your labia. I have two bidets and love them.

Your concern & question is Very Understandable! Most people don't use toilet paper "correctly" as it is, wiping the wrong way....leading to feminine "health issues" .
A bidet will definitely not project anything into the "frontlands". It sprays #2 downward not forward.
It's an even better idea to use soap & water afterward, & personally speaking, I find it actually disgusting otherwise.
(Wash cloths or microfiber.. and a washer & dryer is a No Brainer)!

I've been using my bidets for a few years and absolutely love them! I even have a portable one so I don't get monkey butt when I'm out somewhere. That's the worst!!! I also love my squatty potty so the two together is wonderful!

Here’s a serious question. What if someone blows up the toilet? How gross could that be if your next in line? I’ve never used one and have always wondered.
If that will happen, there's nothing to worry about! The TUSHY's nozzle itself is retractable and only comes out of its poo-free cocoon when in use. We have also added a fun little nozzle wash feature that cleans the nozzle by running water over the outside of the nozzle, no hands necessary!

I've seen some bidets that offer an additional nozzle in the front for the ladies. Is this something that might be in a future Hello TUSHY model?
Our nozzle actually adjusts to hit whatever angle you need for the front :)
that is plastics and plastic has ege they break done and you will have flooding in you home ckeck out Rim bidet no plastics pats is used on that products this plastic units are very dangerous to use in the bathroom that has no floor drain this plastic units are ok for chaina not for usa or canada

Your information is DRASTICALLY Flawed & incorrect!
Plastic hoses & connections are not used in connecting your water source. You may need to purchase Inexpensive hardware parts for some seats & attachments, but I researched The Tushy back in March.
Anyone who can read and use common sense can install a bidet seat or attachment, in 10-30 minutes.
I would never consider a Handheld, as those REQUIRE the water supply to be turned off & on after each use. That could be a potentially disasterous option.

You're over exaggerating talking about 37 gallons of water. I have used my bidet for over 2 years and can honestly say it takes maybe a quart of water instead. I say this because my portable bidet is 500ml and while it's a good size, one fill is not quite enough. Plus during this TP shortage, I've actually switched from using any TP now. Since all I need to do is dry off, I changed over to towels and it's interesting but working fine.

Can’t afford one right now because I lost my job in the shutdown and I still haven’t gotten my unemployment. When this country reopens and I’m back at work I will be getting a bidet. I bought a travel bidet to try it out and I like it very much. The only downside is I will miss my bidet when I have to go places that don’t have them.

I just spent $18 for a 12 pack of toilet paper at the grocery store. This is $50 and lasts much longer. It will pay for itself quickly. Just a bit more upfront cost.

You can use TP to pat dry, but you don't have to. If you use bum towels you can totally eliminate your TP usage if you choose!

We took that into account! The nozzle retracts into a protective cocoon when not in use, and has an automatic self cleaning feature :)

Yes but I also try to bend forward to get my butt good. And some water gets out of the gap under the toilet seat because of the height of the bidet. But I think ill get the hang of it 😁

I have been thinking about getting one. My aunt told me I need to be careful about the water pressure? She told me they can floor your bathroom if you have too much?
The knob on the wall that you turn your water to the toilet off with: you don't have to turn it all the way on. My bathroom has ridiculously high water pressure, so I only turn it halfway on at the wall.

The new 3.0 has a special schmutz shield to help keep things clean. We recommend wiping it down with a gentle cleanser as often as you wipe down your toilet :)

TUSHY Classic is single temperature, TUSHY Spa has a warm water connection. Drying off only requires a square or two of TP or a bum towel!

I will say, I was concerned about the cold water hitting me but I realized that that area of our bodies do not have the same temperature gage as our hands. My fingers can feel freezing or numb from the water temp but my butt can't tell the difference from any other time of the year. It was a pretty interesting discovery to say the least!

Friend, one question after the installation, if the guest doesn't want to use the bidet jet, can I use the regular toilet handle to flush it?

My bidet is NOT spraying anymore. I turn the knob and nothing happens. I can feel water vibrating in the tube when I flush but it will not spray.

Yes! TUSHY gets its water from the water source from the wall, the same water you brush your teeth with. You could totally drink from TUSHY, which would be weird, but hey, you do you!

How is the nozzle not contaminated during the wash? It may retract after spraying but still needs to be disinfected then one would have to get that disinfectant off the nozzle so that the next spray doesn't have the disinfectant- How long does the nozzle stay under a poopy bottom before it retracts?
You can/should clean TUSHY as frequently as you do your toilet with a neutral PH mild cleaner and disinfectant. And we haven't heard of the nozzle getting contaminated since it is spraying the poops away and it won't touch your butt. The nozzle only comes out when you turn the knob to bum wash, once you're done spraying it will go back inside its cocoon.

The bidet only uses about a pint of water to get you clean, and you use way less tp drying off than you would wiping. You can also go TP free with a bum towel, or TUSHY Tissues.

Hey there! This is a fairly common misconception. The water doesn't push anything to the front the way a piece of tp might. It all falls straight down into the bowl with the help of our friend gravity :)

Everyone has their own routine, the water pressure should be enough to take care of what you need with a little wiggle and a pat dry at the end.

I wonder if during the winter the water will be extremely cold? And does the water feel down on the pipe after hitting the butt? Then it would get dirty... the pipe with poop....
It's generally room temp, and I've never had issues with the temp here in NYC during the winter. We also have the TUSHY Spa which connects to your sink for temperature control. The nozzle also retracts when not in use, and has a self cleaning feature :)

I agree a bidet is the way to go... however ur water saving math is way,way,way off.. regardless of using a bidet or using toilet paper,you still flush the toilet once,using the same volume of water..once the paper is in the sewer line it gets hammered by all the other fixture units that drain to it..it's all waste water that mulcifies it.. nobody flushes 6 times after using toilet paper?..so no,it definitely, absolutely does not save water...it uses more Infact....I've been a plumber for 30 years so anytime any more water is added to any system cannot ever be considered as water saving...the bidet itself is far more hygienic and feels way more clean...but..no,it draws and expels more water..
The issue is that it takes roughly 6 gallons of water to make 1 roll of toilet paper. Whereas using a bidet only uses about a pint of water. Some people also flush multiple times if they're wiping a lot.

It doesn't save water. You still have to flush the poop down, so adding water to water that flushes is not saving water. Now if you said it saves trees, thats a different story. Just be accurate. I don't flush twice. People who want a courtesy flush are that problem. Again be accurate.

I think the next logical iteration of this product should have a part where you can put some kind of "soap wash"in and it shoots that into your butt first then shoot the clean water. Like a quick 2 step process.
Not only will it make people more comfortable who are concerned about it being hygienic but it opens an area for a new product line for the company. They can involve scents and sprays that ease your burning butthole after having diarrhoea. 😂
Last point, using everyday words in this video was a great idea. The language makes the "commercial" feel less robotic and more relatable. Good idea.
