Travel bidets like the TUSHY are especially great for apartment renters. That's because some property managers might not allow toilet bidets to be installed in rental units.
I'm personally a renter, even if you install the tusy biget they're ready to take off. You just need basic tools like a huge pilers and a wrench and some plumbers tape. 👍🏽
These consoles install non-destructively so that when it's time to remove them everything can be exactly the same way it was before you installed them. Components are available to make them work with different toilets and all of the common plumbing scenarios. The only scenario I don't see being able to make it work is if you have one of those tankless toilets AND the water connections to the bathroom sink aren't accessible without drilling through an undersink enclosing cabinetry. But if EITHER one of those isn't true these consoles can still be installed without causing any damage whatsoever.
They have to give 48 hours notice to enter your unit in most instances which is sufficient time to remove a bidet seat. Then just reinstall it after they've left your unit.
I keep one in my car (3 kids) and one in my purse, alongside a travel sized natural DR. bronners castile liquid soap. If you want disinfecting properties try tea tree oil about one drop or two for a full bottle of water portable bidet. This gives you a fresh clean sensation. While on my cycle I also carry feminine wash in a travel container and before even heading to a public toilet I make sure I have it filled up at home. I stay very fresh and my kids also stay fresh. When I ask my husband to take one of the boy to the bathroom they ask daddy why he didn’t carry “mom’s wash bottle” lol.
Honestly, I kind of thought at first I could just get any kind of squeeze bottle for a travel bidet and didn't know what was so special about this one until I saw the nozzle! This definitely changes things and looks way more convenient.
Super thanks for this video. I'm on my first trip using the bottle, and I don't have the instructions. So of course I was missing a few steps when I tried using it the first few times. I didn't extend the entire bottle and feel it up with water, which also means I wasn't using your full-hand squeeze tip. After literally watching your video in my hotel bathroom, I used the bottle correctly. And best of all, I filled the bottle with warm water, which felt REALLY nice. Now I want a warm water bidet at home. Thanks for your tips. Really love Tushy products.
Also want to add, that I had to use TB a few times before using the travel bottle, and boy did it not feel good. After using my bidet at home for almost a year, wiping my butt with TP just doesn't feel good, especially with non-soft TB.
thanks carrie, I have had mine for about a year , I'm out side a lot for work . so a porta potty is a common pit stop . its a fresh feeling when I'm done . sometimes there is no tissue eek ! , so a clean bottle of fresh H2o is very nice . the wet bottom dries with in minuets, if there is no tissue . thanks YOU SOOOO much plus my tushy home is a huge conversation piece ..
Need ideas for aiding a 23 year old man on the spectrum using the squeeze bottle. Is there any video which gets down to the nitty gritty while actually on the toilet seat! I'm not doing something right or perhaps I need to get a new bidet travel bottle. When I squeeze from the front it sort of ok but when I squeeze from the back the water that's hitting my rear orifice runs down in my front orifices creating a concern about UTI.

That kind of depends! I hold it behind me, and that's generally what we recommend. However, each butt is different. You can play around with it to find the perfect angle for your booty : )
Once you get used to using a bidet, going without one is awful! I have arthritis so squeeze bottles don't work for me. Hand position, squeeze with pressure, none of it works for me. BUT (no pun intended) this looks like it would work almost as well as my washlet.

as much as i wish there were a bidet in every public washroom now that i have the Tushy installed at my apartment, i don't think i'll ever be using this device in public washrooms, or at another person's house. i've wiped my ass for about 30 years now, so i think i can suck it up in those situations. with that being said, i do think something like this is basically essential if you're camping. taking a poop when camping is already tragic enough, so being able to use much less toilet paper while squatting in a bush is a massive bonus.

Hmmm, did you try warm water? A full bottle of water works for me. I like how I can move the bottle around some as I target the spray. Using the full hand tip she shows in the video really helps increase the water pressure.

People forget to mention when using it you probably want to use a hand towel to keep from contaminating it since you are using it before you get off the stool and wash your hands!!!!
Okay i have trouble putting back the plastic ring inside the product. I tried it without it and the top wants to pop off everytime. I tried putting back the plastic ring but now the top can't close

TUSHY sprays up, not forwards so nothing gets pushed to the front. The clean water goes up, and the dirty water falls straight down into the bowl with the help of gravity. The stream is adjustable too, so you can use it to help prevent UTIs as well! Do you need to be sitting while the water from the TUSHY is cleaning your bum.

Okay just put a small motor in there so it sprays out and it can be USB charged you don't need that big of a battery because you're not doing that much unless you want to put a bigger battery in and then you can make it power bank as well
There are other brands that use battery, usb chargeable or using aaa ones if you want it automatic. The thing with everything battery operated, there will be time when you need it and the battery is up and you just have no means to charge it or you don't have extra battery.

Are you holding the bidet under your bottom and spraying up? That's the angle we generally recommend.
Test it out and get your spray right and then use it when pooping. That's how I learned my angle! - Carrie

We ship to mexico! We recommend patting dry with a few squares of TP or a designated bum towel :)
Looks easy to clean the inside because of the wide opening. My other travel bidets would mold inside quickly.

You can remove a TUSHY as easily as you can install it, but the Travel is a great option if your landlord forbids them :)
Tenants generally have to be given 48 hours notice which is plenty of time to remove a bidet seat. Once the landlord has left, reinstall it.

I can't find any information about drying. What do you recommend? I've tried using toilet paper, but it just disintegrates due to all the water.
Same here. I think they offer some items in their product line, like TP made from bamboo that are suppose to work better.
Sometimes it helps to bundle up toilet paper, or you should save a little in the bottle to wash away the paper pulp.
You can also hydrate with it.

Unfortunately, most flushable wipes aren't actually meant to be flushed. They're rough on plumbing, and the environment.
