tried Crowbar and the slowness just bugs me a bit. I might need to have certain expectations there. Down and CoC are a couple of my favorites though. Even though Eyehategod is a terrible name, they are pretty good
@@mrmanju6989 - Sludge metal in general is usually a slower tempo, but Crowbar and other Sludge bands have a hardcore influence making the tempo fast at times. The Crowbar albums I'd recommend for faster songs; Crowbar [self-titled], Broken Glass, Sever the Wicked Hand.
But I would for sure check out Crowbar's live concerts.

I’ve seen Phil with Pantera 10 times Down 4 times , Super Joint 3 And he’s always sounded good. But I was at this show as well and he always kills it WithDown

I’ve seen down, 7/8 times, superjoint 3x times and the one time I had to see Pantera live I missed it in 2001…if they DO retour in 2023 I’m going, regardless of what anyone thinks with zackyle and Charlie I’m there
@@UTINNI_36 lol.I’m 43 but I live in their home town,Ft Worth. And they use to play here twice a year for the most part. Dime also has a small live bar here called the Tattoo bar right down the road from his house that he was frequently at . My buddies use to play out of his bar all the time so every know and then he’d come on stage and jam with them. You’d run in to them at the local guitar center or even the beer store really.
Me and my brother's last concert together,he died on june 22 of last year,i miss him so much,he loved the same heavy music as i did,and the concerts is what i miss the most

My brother also died too early....the last concert that we saw together was Iron Maiden on their World Pie🎉ce tour in 1983.

I think the En Minor project obliged Phil to focus again on melody singing. His voice had forgotten how to be melodic and he´s got that back. Amazing.

I can tell you're a poser fan. Phil sang differently in Down then he did in Pantera, and that's what started the downfall of Pantera. Dime and Vince always wanted Phil to sing more and growl less, he refused, then did for Down what they wanted him to do for Pantera.

You're so full of shit. I seen them twice. Once in 1994, and they were great. Once in 1997 and Phil couldn't even stand up and sing, the guy was so drunk and high. He sounded like shit. It was the GST tour with White Zombie.
Pantera 4 also, maybe five memories are faded especially the ozzfest. I remember Phil's quotes from some of the shows and that helps. Down, maybe twice. Super joint twice for sure! The Phil ensemble complete with incredible artist. Incredible.

The versarility of Anselmo of doing groove, trash, death and doom metal is awesome.
I love how Witchtripper was the "deep" cut for us who have been there from the beginning, but it's from one of the newer ep's they released. I wish they'd mix up the sets more, especially with Over the Under stuff... At least they're playing shows, Kirk is back, and this video sounds great. Long live Down.

I was there front and center. We drove to Dallas from kc. It was even better in person. It really sounded more like record In person. They nailed it. These guys are all legends and know what they are doing. Coolest part is they all hung out after the show at the venue. Even phil came out and took photos and chilled. Yall missed out!
