Hi, I have a question. I am practicing some ILS landings and need to set my NAV 1 frequency to 118.1 MHz for approach, however my available frequency range is roughly 108 - 117, not lower or higher. How do I reach higher frequencies? Just flying from KPDX to KHIO with the DA62.
So I know this is an older video, but I am having an issue with my approaches in the DA-62. As soon as I hit my approach vector, the navigation automatically switches and tries to seek out the LOC well before I am ready to and it starts to send me off course. I then have to get my GPS and NAV online again to finish my approach. Am I missing something? Is there a way to keep the aircraft from doing this?
I used the Microsoft Flight Simulator flight planner that you can use when you first start the flight before going to the airport. It will create the flight plan for you and file it with ATC.

Just checked the approach plate for KSAN ILS 9 and the glide slope intercept altitude is indeed 2000'.

I swear i followed everything you did but can't get the LOC1 option, only VOR after pressing CDI. No idea what i'm doing wrong!
