Test flying the DA62 in Microsoft Flight Simulator

A quick test flight in the DA62 in Microsoft Flight Simulator - doing a touch and go at Booker airfield, performing some stall and spin tests, and then landing. Great little aeroplane.
I suspect many people don't use it because of the visibility issues in the cockpit if you don't have VR (there is a huge hoop that restricts visibility in 2D).

Just moved onto this Aircraft today, having a blast with it.
I mainly fly 152 or 172 having full knowledge of startup now of both. Occasionally I like to fly the EA-7 Edgley Optica also.
I don't like to fly too many Aircraft without knowledge of T/O and Landing speeds, start and shutoff procedures. With exceptions to the F/A18 (for now)
Had recently learned the Cabri G2 and thought to move up a class in GA aircraft and go to the DA62.
This has helped familiarise myself thank you.

i may be biased but that ac is the must fun to fly imo… biased why? because my parents both work for diamond aircraft. my dad‘s avionics and my mom does the wings.
but nonetheless i think that the g1000 is really easy to understand. it just took me 2-3 DnC‘s with my dad’s explanation to learn how to start the ac and do all the autopilot stuff etc

JustFlight tend to download installers, which put the files in community. Only the marketplace puts things in the Official/OneStore folder.
