Great videos, got everything dissembled, and reinstalled in about 3 hours (had to wait for heater core delivery). Thanks so much

Your video for the heater core replacement has helped me tremendously I did notice that when removing the center console you have to disconnect the wiring harness for the rear window controls but

Respectfully appreciate the filming on this jeep Liberty, my niece has an 06 Liberty with coolant smells inside cabin. Anyway my brother believes its the heater core, we all know it's quite tedious to remove some out the way.

Besides the heater core and the coolant return lines/hoses is there anything else you recommend to replace while the dash is apart? Im a Toyota/Lexus tech but ill service and repair almost anything just for the challenge.

Bro I can’t get the damn heater box to line back up with the bolt and the ac exhaust t where the water drips out it’s like it’s to the right and won’t come over and go through the damn holes I need it to line up with

In your video there is a vacuum actuator(green hose) and a check valve connected( black hose). I noticed the black hose of the check valve is not connected to anything. I am having hard time finding where that is connected to?

Hi so I have a question-
Fortunately for me I don't have a heater core problem but I do need to replace the door Actuator and I can see what the mechanic meant when he said it was in an awkward spot to where he needs to remove the dash.
What kind of process do I need to go through as far as getting to that area and what do I need to watch out for such trying not to set off the airbags? I am not really advanced in all of this so anything would be of great help especially disassembling the dash.

I looked and they have some replaced videos on here that might help you better. If it’s just the actuator like it most always is those videos might be a better help but if the tab broke off the door you will probably have to remove the dash like I did.

Just did this today.. Didn't have to take it that far apart. However, you DO have to disconnect the AC lines as there is NO way the HVAC box will tilt far enough back to get the heater core out because of the length of the connection pipes on it.

Nope I honestly got it out without disconnecting the AC lines! Did you undo the clips that run along the inside of the Rh fender?

@@briansgarage2605 Yes. The dryer was pulled right up against the firewall as far as it would go. I guess maybe some dryer lines may have a bit more length to them but I ended up pulling the HVAC box back quite a bit and still only had JUST enough room to slip the core out and back in. No biggie. It's done and that's all that matters at this point.. LOL

I may have just gotten lucky! It was pretty tight in there and I had to tilt the box just right but who knows maybe a factory indifference or maybe one of them had an after market line. But I’m glad to hear you got it!

How much do you think a mechanic would charge for this job.
