This is my cats' favorite toy. They love chasing the balls, and the loading gimmick lets me sneak ammo back in without picking the blaster up and alerting them. I think Nerf made this one just for me. 🤣

He's had a pre-production/prototype one for ages along with the blaster it was supposed to come with. You can see them both on the blaster wall in a few earlier videos.
Coop did a video showing that it does load from the side. How are the two guns different for you two?

Before release, I posited this would be the Rival Retaliator platform. When I saw the pump and stock kits, I immediately realized I wasn't the only one who saw it that way. I agree that the geometry in the bottom front is misguided - glad you've tested the K series springs in it.

Yeah not sure what happened there, I've seen it a couple of times on Luke's videos.
I love it that when he tried to load it the second time, he did it really fast and it saved him no time whatsoever.
The only thing on my wishlist for this blaster would be a replacement muzzle piece, that also would come with an attachment point for a return spring for the breech. TaG did a video where he installed a return spring in the front, which made sure the breech would always seal nicely, really helping with getting reliable performance.

It covers mods in that scale. Not sure about a Alpha Trooper specifically though. You can look up the internals and you can get mod guides that way too.

You're videos are the best
you can load while its in the blaster with some finagling!
All finishers jam but yours have defect - in other finishers you can reaload mag when it is inside
That's not a defect. I had one a few weeks ago and returned it the next day because it was so bad. The tab you're supposed to grab to reload the mag while it's in the blaster actually goes up into the blaster shell. Unless you finagle with it and get that tab to barely peek out, you can't reload it while in the blaster.
I think it’s safe to say go buy a Kronos or if you want a mag Helios or Apollo
fahmeed ahmad please never buy the Apollo. I’ve had 2 and they’ve both broken. And they were virtually unfixable btw.

The mag is still good even if it’s gimmicky imo because now that they’re confident it works they can use the same system in other mags and build and improve upon it. It’s not a bad thing that it’s got the gimmick.
That would be nice but you can't use that magazine in any other Blaster it will not go in till he loads it will not go into an Apollo

It sucks that Rival will probably become obsolete. I hope it does something to combat that.
They should make pump action versions of flywheels and the other way around like a flywheel Kronos or a pump action perses

Midnight Terror890 Official hopper springer has the benefits of pre priming and less noise but quicker and less reloading so it’s efficient and effective for SOME game types
I want to get into modding but I don’t have a soldering iron or ability to get a lot of tools so springer mods seem the best where should I start
fahmeed ahmad I recommend starting with a hammershot or Kronos as they are fairly simple and the spring upgrades are cheap, effective, and provide a great basis to start modding!

@@Top5-p6d better springs and simple cylinder upgrades (like making it half dart compatible by removing the dart holding pins, and making it back loadable by removing the back stopper and smoothing it with sandpaper/a dremel). You can also remove the air restrictor.
I also reccomend modding a strongarm. It has the same upgradeability as the hammer shot. Its just prefrence of blaster, and what you have.
Get a Worker Prophecy. You can get them to shoot up to 250 FPS.
I certainly hope viral product is not become obsolete but with everything I've seen from Hasbro recently it really makes me wonder like they're shooting themselves in the foot intentionally in my personal opinion I have decided this year to vote with my money and not by Hasbro I will buy other products other blasters from other companies I will not buy a single head for Blaster this year because of everything I've seen from them so far
Makes sense if people followed Hasbro would perhaps fix themselves

@@Top5-p6d I was going to buy one of those blasters and I was going to get the project Athena kitfort to turn it into a rifle basically but a friend of mine got one and he took his apart and he looked at it and he shot me a picture of the internals and that turned me off right there as soon as I saw the internals when I know thank you

I like the aesthetic of the Finisher, but I'm kind of disappointed that you can't top off the mag while it's in the blaster. If that's what you want, then you're either better off with the Kronos or some trimming of the magwell might be in order.
Also, after reading the comments and looking in the background, could we see some action with that custom-looking Rival Drum Magazine?

Seems like nerf may die out since they started ultra and are running out of ideas it seems so they should make a series called mirror or r3verse and make flywheel blasters springers and vice versa like a pump action regulator or a flywheel strong arm
