What about maybe doing a adapter door to make the Perses compatible with a proton Pack through the hopper???... Extended battery cover with molded in fore grip low profile... ( Flows together plus it would be easier for people to who possible have trouble grasping the flat battery door)
You could put a rail, or some minimalist iron sights built into the top of the hopper

@@jakepowell7414 Probably hipfire? It sucks when you need to shoot accurately but I love shooting at the hip bcs it feels AWESOME.
If you put iron sights on top of the copper extension it's going to be very unaccurate when you try aim
I’d love to see a lower capacity hopper for people who like the modular door but don’t want to blaster to be a lot larger than it already is
Maybe a rectangular magnetic door because at my local club a bunch of people use the perses and just want a faster reload not necessarily a larger hopper

@@outofdarts Horizontal door on the top that's really really low? Keep the width and length and lower the whole thing
Ya I like the idea of more rounds but don’t like the aesthetics, I know it’s not practical but it’s important to me. Having a lower profile with a square-ish shape would work? Like ensipe2 said. I think the same principal would still apply using your hand to funnel the balls in because I was also planning on using paintball canisters to carry extra rounds.
Probably the only thing I can think of to add to your already awesome hopper design is a piccatinny rail option on top.
It's 3d printed so i dont think it'll hold up the weight

Bought one of the hoppers and really dig it- looks great and goes on easily! Planning to get another for the 2nd Perses I bought.
Also like the battery door though I feel the side that presses against the 'pop up part' a bit too thin, but I understand tolerances.

Got my new Galaxy Black hopper today. The back pin on my Perses was locked in place. I was able to install by having the hopper in two pieces.
I installed the back part first to get past the stuck pin. The front then attached easily and I was able to pop it all into place.
Excellent job on the design. The print quality is superb!
Awesome design work, Luke. You fixed all the problems I had with the Perses. Now I’m going to have to pick one up!
My hopper expansion now has a great DIY aiming view through sight port that took only about 10 minutes with one power tool and some light sanding. Agreeing with your more sleek hopper ejection lever profile, I also cut down the lever, sanded and lightly re-colored in about a minute or two. Other than the CAB disadvantage of finding a mock suppressor, my first Perses is optimal and, thanks to your wonderfully tactical and affordably priced hopper expansion, has finally surpassed my Nemesis as the go to primary. Stock up on paint ball pod accessories flywheel loving Rivalers!
I got to use mine at a library event a few days ago. I have to admit the blaster is awesome. But I did go through my rounds like crazy... and for HVZ I ended up running out of rounds and was turned while trying to reload... definitely going to invest in the extra ammo capacity... keep up the good work..

One suggestion/idea: I'd like to play with a belt using painball pods. That would mean I'd have to use the door. However, I'd like to scavenge too. Would it be possible to make a loading door "frame' that uses the flaps as door? That way I can use both playing styles and scavenge too!

Best hopper mod ever barely change profile of the blaster but with speed feed it will worn in time and hopefully it will drop in no problem

I love the idea of using paintball equipment on Rival. Gives me an idea... What if you add a regular gravity-fed paintball hopper on top of the Out Of Darts extra hopper?
an insert in the hopper itself that angles the flow of the balls towards the feeding mech to solve the feeding inconsistencies of the hopper system
an idea for the speed loader, you could make 3d printed pods where it's bottom has a spring that will lock into a down position so you could load the rival rounds but then you would press a button that releases the spring so when you use the speed loader it would push the rival rounds in
Do a two/dual stage trigger!!
Now all we need is a mod guide
Adding a rail to the top would be nice, in case you want to install a scope.

Two suggestions, lower capacity hopper to flow better with the lines of the perses and have less bulk. Also, extended stock piece. I'm tall the perses is way to short for me.

First battle with the expanded hopper last night - thank you so much again Luke! Other than the adjusted aim from having a higher over the top of the blaster perspective, this puppy is perfect - we'll get to that in a moment. 2nd battle with Perses last night and it kept me down to only two hits in the first half hour of CQB matches with some decent young shooters in 4 v 4. We RIVAL Flywheel lovers all appreciate your efforts so much in designing this so quickly and also to a fellow player's high standards that we couldn't be anything less than delighted! Now about that aiming adjustment - will you be making one with a view screen over the magnetic flap and a connected camera at the front apex? ;-) I was repeatedly unintentionally landing consistent head shots in the CQB arena without this wonderful upgrade a few weeks ago - just a thought and I am so looking forward to how the stock PERSES with just 50 will change the FPT team dynamics and training! #triggercontrolledburst
U should look at a angled thumb release where’s it’s a ramp on one side but the other side where you engage is ribbed and concave to take up the common shape as a thumb yet prevents snagging on gear
I'd actually like a smaller hopper. Like maybe 100 rounds. I just think the one you showed is a little too big and bulky aesthetically.
True....maybe mk it look like an extention of the blaster instead of a hopper that sits on top....dont get me wrong 160 rounds is awesome but a slimmer look would b a game changer
A big reason it's so wide is the feed mouth. It's necessary.

Try to add a spout to the paintball pods to get past the quick load for the hopper?. Eg. Gas pump nozzle in to the filling port.
I really like the extra dart idea but I was thinking maybe to make it twice as large you could make the hopper spread down the sides of the gun a little and then have springs covered with plastic to push the balls up when needed too be shot. I don't know if this would work effectively but I would love to hear from you and see what you think about this idea! I love your channel!

Now that I finally got into Nerf within the last 2 months, I ordered a Perses after finding it on the Hasbro Official eBay site. I decided to grab a 'B' stock adaptor. I mean it will get banged up anyway. This just seems like the perfect accessory. I'll need to leave a review once I get it. I appreciate OOD for making this and enhancing the hobby.

Have you considered making a hopper with a picatinny rail on top? To add sights or a sling mount? I don't know how feasible it is but I kinda like the idea of it.

What about a picatinny rail on top of the hopper? Maybe only the front two thirds so you can rest your cheek on back third...
You should put the opening on top. It's awkward to feed the balls into it using a pod with the opening at an angle. Also make the lid swing open more.
Any plans to look at something like an extendable stock option? It's a phenomenal blaster, but not the most comfortably sound for anyone over 5'9"
@@outofdarts I kept running through possibilities like the Artemis stock attachment, or something like the Hypnos' folding stock. it might be a tough choice, but the most secure spot is where you have the hopper secured to the existing hopper. Without cutting/gluing, you might be able to design a stock extension that's built into the 160-round hoppper. Something that continues past the door and down into a new stock. It only needs maybe 4-6 inches added to the end of the current stock. It could also add functionality as a kind of shovel/tray to catch rounds when trying to dump into the hopper.
Suggestion. Revised Proton pack for Nemesis/Perses that feeds into hopper. Imagine 1000 rounds Perses even at stock. Beastly!
i was hoping for a laser sight for the perses. when it revs up the laser activates creating a beam at the target. one strong on or three little ones i can attach to the barrel. was hoping of using the wires that go to jam door in some way to power it.
Not sure the feasibility but I was thinking the feed belt, if it were longer, if it'd reduce the need to tip the blaster forward for those last few rounds.
I wonder if you could just add on to the battery thing to make the angled fore grip?
Adding a grip overtop a separate piece just seems like adding an extra step.
