Absolutely beautiful high trim Grand Marquis. This car will definitely give someone years and years of great comfort safe transportation for a bargain. Beautiful white wall tires!!!
I'm a GM guy, but these are my favorites from Ford... and thank you for putting whitewalls on this vehicle. It gives a car like this very nice contrast. I hate seeing black walls on these era cars.

One of the best cars ever made. I had this same car and color except it was the crown Vic which I like better because the grill is horizontal instead of vertical. The badging is more attractive imo. Mine was an 11. Wife crashed and totaled it glad she was ok but I really miss that car. I plan on buying another in the future hopefully a very low mileage example. These cars go 300k miles easily. Cheers! Love all your cars Mr. Gozzo! God bless

I drove my 2005 300 miles yesterday between 80 and 85mph ... Best cruiser I have had in 50 years of driving. Got it last year from an elderly couple. 85,000 miles. I love it!
Yes, the Town Car got the 4.6 engine as a 1991 model year and the Grand Marquis/Crown Victoria for the new body 1992. The 92's Grand Marquis and Crown Victoria came out in the Spring of 1991. I have 2 or 3 Grand Marquis with coil springs and one with air ride still and I can't tell the difference, all of them are rubbery smooth and soft riding.

Good choice Anthony. The only car I buy. I'm on my 6th Grand Marquis. Very trouble free car and their always previously owned by the elderly. Always bought them from the elderly. Great cars!
"Some people it's kind of an old car" lol!...."those people" have NO IDEA how to relax by driving an incredibly comfortable, super reliable, fairly powerful and excellent handling classy automobile. So true, some would even say "dated" especially some younger people & most or some think the cars now days are good cars, probably because of the screen & ect. I'm the opposite, these cars are & will always be nice looking cars than those now days, cars now are too high tech than simple as this car.
Christian O'Brien you are right. Since this time, American manufacturers have given up and started chasing the European and Asian manufacturers. I’m not saying that American car manufacturers have to make a body on frame V8 sedan to stand apart from the rest - but make SOMETHING unique. America has always produced what no one else could or would, and we have enjoyed those luxuries. Why, now, should we just throw in the towel and become what everyone else is? People just don’t understand how much we have lost by losing our place at the top. Our place producing one of a kind machines, cars, commodities, etc.
I have a 2011 ultimate LS in service as a livery. Sky blue, car is still a beauty and just rolled over to 301,000 miles...of which I put on 220k of those in less than 3 years. Been a super car.
I'm generally into smaller, faster cars, but there's something undeniably appealing about these, i've ridden in a few...solid, quiet, comfortable, attractive in a conservative way, and they have a good reputation for reliability. If I was in the market for a nice cruiser, I wouldn't be at all disappointed to pilot something like this around. Oh, and I live in Florida with lots of older folks, the carpet gets worn like that when the hips get bad, feet tend to get dragged over the same spot. It's pretty common. We'll all be there one day, hopefully!
Crown vics tranmissions seem to go somewhat fast...i had a 93 crown vic / 77 chevy caprice / 84 buick electra .... love the bubble style crown vics & grand marquis beautiful ride
This or a Lexus LS are the perfect daily driver, smooth v8 power, super reliable, decent highway MPG, and honestly great looking. Wish Ford kept making these bad boys
I have a 99 GM and i have a toyota and buick and this by far has been the most reliable. Plus the drive is intoxicating. It's down fall is it's RWD so it's no good in snow, and they have basic features, which is not bad because that's less shit to go wrong with it. Overall the best bang for your buck.
I really love these comfortable cars Lincoln town car, Mercury and crown VictoriaI really love these comfortable cars and they have same engines 03-2011
Sweet car my brother and I were just talking the other day about how you never see Chevy Caprice is anymore but I sure do see tons of these old Ford cars.
My mom had one of these until someone hit her and had to be totaled. She still misses it. If I had some money, I would buy it for her. She'd be in heaven.
Just bought a 2009 grand Marquis ultimate edition w/ only 36K miles on it! Interior is like new and looks exactly like the car in this vid - and was only $4500! The 90yr old man who owned it died and his son just wanted to sell it! It was in excellent condition omg a true unicorn!

Wanna hear the best story ever? I bought a 1997 Grand Marquis from a guy in Jacksonville FL. He owned a mom and pop shop and took a trade in from some kid who wanted a newer truck. The kid traded in his 97 grand marquis. The owner sold me the car for $600 plus tax which came to $642. The car had 181k miles on it. I bought in 2017. I still have it today, and it had 242k miles and the AC works perfect. The electric seats still work perfect. I had to replace the radiator last week for $200 and I put a set of plugs in it for $75. It still drives like its brand new. Best cars in the world and I have a total of $917 in it.
These Panther Platform vehicles are absolutely bulletproof. From the body on frame construction, the powertrain shared with law enforcement vehicles, and inexpensive running operating cost. You cannot go wrong with these vehicles - as the owner of a livery company & mechanic I have seen these with 750,000 plus miles. Still used by law enforcement and livery company’s today. Great Find @specialtymotorcars 👍🏼
I respect your opinion on the older Ford cars as I have owned Ford's all my life starting with a 1974 Gran Torino Sport with a 351 Cleveland engine. I on the other hand can appreciate the advancement in technology that more modern cars afford. By the way I'm only 5'6" tall so I won't have the issue with headroom.I miss the variety of body styles of automobiles that were offered in the 60s. In 1966 for example Ford had 8 varieties of convertibles.

Dumb Ford management. All they build are stupid pickups with Eco Junk engines that are garbage. This is the best big American car ever. I have owned my 03 Grand Marquis for 11 years. 120,000 carefree miles. 24 mpg all day long on interstates. Never selling it. Beautiful car Anthony.
You really keep finding these cars. You are on to something Anthony. You know we live in a crossover/suv world and enthusiasts and people like you want to drive cars like this. I hate black walls too. You can get Michelins and Firestone whitewalls I assume. I hate how they started to cheapen out the car starting in 1997. They made the Grand Marquis have more in common with Ford Crown Victoria and stuff was taken out over time.. They shared more parts with the Town Car towards the end too. They came loaded. I liked the 1992-1996 version of the body style. I hated the headlights 1997 forward. A car like that should have a quad headlight design( meaning two headlights on each side of the grille in one unit). The tail lamps lost a distinct Mercury look. When the time is right, I am thinking about putting you to the test for what I want to purchase. Thank you for another video.
OLDS98 Michelin no longer makes any white walls, sadly. Not sure about firestone. Nobody makes them in 17’s any more that I know of except for these Anthony gets. Hankook makes nice 15’s, Continental still makes some 16’s.
@@andrewwhobrey6492 Thank you for the response. I know Firestone still makes the, because I have them on my 1995 Olds 98 and 1992 Olds Toronado. I know Michelin stopped because I could not get them on my cars anymore. I saw a Town Car with them and assumed they still offered them on the panther cars.
Mr. Gozzo, again another fine example! I’ve mentioned in past videos, I will be in contact on or soon after October to November. My son is a big fan of Panther platforms and will need his first car. I would even love to find a Towncar as a daily so as to park my Mustang.
Beautiful car I love Mercury's and Lincoln's. This car is really loaded just missing a moon roof which you could get on the last two years of production. I now own a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria. And they do ride awesome. Of course the Mercury had a bit more ginger on it as my dad used to call it. Love to have it great mileage for the year. Too bad Ford has quit making all cars and just trucks and SUV's. I like cars better. If I had it i would have the dents removed by dent wizard they are awesome. No painting fabulous to watch too! Gorgeous Merc!!
My 99 Grand Marquis has 418,00 same engine, same transmission. I had to change ball joints. I put synthetic oil plus lucas oil, lucus transmission healor and Sea Form in it. I still take it on long distance trips in the summer time. I still take ( rescue stuff ) just in case someone cars breaks down in the heat. I have seen A lot of newer and older cars break down this summer so far. I heat seeing break downs with families in the car.
@@specialtymotorcars I he sad news to announce. I sold my solid Grand Marquis to a person in need for $ 300.00. The person got a job and was buming rides to work. So I sold it.
These are fantastic cars! I have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis "Presidential Edition" with 21000miles as my daily driver in Finland. Too bad Ford and GM dont produce body on frame cars any more... I just have to maintain my Mercury and 91 Caprice Classic well!
I had a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis Ultimate Edition with digital instrument cluster, should've kept instead of trading for a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab. But I traded for a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature 4 years ago which I'll keep for a while now I'll soon be payment free.
You're thinking of the mark viii or continental with the 4.6 4v probably... No 2v was ever rated at 281hp. The 4v 4.6 had 280/290 hp in the mark viii or 275hp in the continental.
Good to know! I just thought of something though, would be possible to get perhaps a civilian Ford Crown Victoria with low mileage as well, if the Mercury is not within reach?
Not overly luxurious??? That's car drives just as good as the Cadillac Eldorado I've owned both. I Had both at the same time. So I was able to compare. Both in excellent condition. Red BEAUTIFUL 99 Eldorado and white BEAUTIFUL 07 Grand Marquis
I drove a 2004 Mercury Ultimate and drove it and loved it until an oncoming car drove into my lane and hit me head on - my car was wrecked but my life was spared!
I've always taken out the air ride and put conventional springs and shocks in. If you have air ride you know what I mean. The airbags eventually fail and leak on them. Springs and shocks are the way to go. Very nice car Anthony!
One of the most beautiful cars that Marquis drove limited but I see and confirm that the old models 92to 2005 are better in all specifications so full and very comfortable I now own Ford Limited 2009 silver or the most beautiful comfortable driving and gas on the long lines very little
Anthony love the cars. I'm big car person myself. Could I offer a suggestion. When you take 'us' for a ride at the end let there be a few moments of silence so the viewers can here what the vehicle sounds like. Thank you.
Mine is an 03 with only 91 thousand And since I hade it since 2016 it’s just now up to 92500 I keep it in garage and always cleaning the paint It looks brand new and also take it to for every 600 miles for oil change unless I do it myself because it sits. A lot
I have a near rust free 2007 P71 with 80K and 192 idle hours I'm winter storing to keep it since well... finding another one like that in Canada, Nova-Scotia is going to be nearly impossible. It makes me sad how hard it is to find a nice one of these nowadays aha. They are starting to get rarer.
Anthony, you need to make a video on both of your 79 Cabies. Those have become pretty much extinct today. I'm sure it will be a first time see for a lot of your viewers. I personally have only seen one in person. To own two is a pretty incredible feat.

Exactly RIGHT, they're Great Cars,I have an 06,149k runs Excellent.Ford should put them back on the Line!!!!!!
Mr. Gozzo, again another fine example! I’ve mentioned in past videos, I will be in contact on or soon after October to November. My son is a big fan of Panther platforms and will need his first car. I would even love to find a Towncar as a daily so as to park my Mustang.
Got a 2005 Ultimate LS Marquis coming in with under 50k as well! Keep me in mind.
Hello from Canada. You have good taste. Thank you for what you do.
Keycode is marked in the trunk or somewhere usually I think. I found my plastic credit card style code info in my owners manual.
Bought an 06 ultimate with 190k a couple months ago, wish the paint and bossy was that clean.
They ride so smooth too
Beautiful car 😍
I have this car but a 1999 love it
My 99 Grand Marquis has 418,00 same engine, same transmission.
WOW over 4 times. Thats a solid car!

I he sad news to announce. I sold my solid Grand Marquis to a person in need for $ 300.00.
The person got a job and was buming rides to work. So I sold it.
gary willis nice of you to help someone in need. Hopefully they care for it enough to maintain its high mileage and keep its going
My Grand Marquis is my best car in Saudi Arabia🤩♥
Does this car have the upgraded non-cracking intake manifold
I had a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis Ultimate Edition with digital instrument cluster, should've kept instead of trading for a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab. But I traded for a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature 4 years ago which I'll keep for a while now I'll soon be payment free.
@Donald J Trump I just paid my car off but thank you.
Fabulous car …. I have my 2006 Lincoln Town Car and I love it !!!!!
Anthony you do know how to pick em, go to your web site see many cars listed no pics need pics, please more pics and prices
All active inventory has photos. Coming attractions not yet!
Still driving my 1997 Grand Marquis 4.6L runs great 130.000 miles. Older models with 4.6 have more horsepower at 281hp.
You're thinking of the mark viii or continental with the 4.6 4v probably... No 2v was ever rated at 281hp. The 4v 4.6 had 280/290 hp in the mark viii or 275hp in the continental.
At this rate, I may transit from my P71 to a Mercury, hopefully next year. Can you assist with purchase and overseas on a low mile car?
I can surely help!
Good to know! I just thought of something though, would be possible to get perhaps a civilian Ford Crown Victoria with low mileage as well, if the Mercury is not within reach?
Shoot! I should make a special trip just to have you take me for a ride in this beauty! :-D
Nice clean Mercury.
That Ford air suspension is not all that complicated or expensive to fix. There is a reason air bags are superior to steel springs.
I had a 95 marquis that didnt have the rear ash trays but my 87 vic did!
Thank you.
Understood! Thanks for the recommendation
MASTERPIECE !
Mine is an 03 with only 91 thousand And since I hade it since 2016 it’s just now up to 92500 I keep it in garage and always cleaning the paint It looks brand new and also take it to for every 600 miles for oil change unless I do it myself because it sits. A lot
And the back tires are ten year old and they told me that they still look new no cracks and still got 40 thousand left
I have 1998 , 271k , still works 👍🏼😁
271!? Wow! Sure bet it’s well maintained to do that!
Great CARS!!!!!👍
I like how you present a car; beautiful old Grand Marquis so sad so many are turned into donks
Got one...love it!!
Real v8. No ecoboost.
That is a great Idea! I was going to take my gray one out this weekend, I think I may just do that!
Let me know when you have another one. I can trade in a 2003 gs. Modified with air intake and racing trip. Let me know
Not a Lincoln Town Car... However still a gorgeous example of the Panther Platform... Caddy DTS on the way?
Got the 2008 with 65k miles coming out of service tomorrow. Detail next and it should be ready!
Where did you find the white walls
Pep boys made by Travel Star. See vid at 3:03
People can call these old people cars all they want, this car is one of the most beautiful luxurious cars ever made. You be a fool to think anything else.
I bought my 03 Marquis GS with 165k and is still running like new condition at 223k
Clean!!!
The last car rolled off the assembly lin on jan 7 2008 would have been in december but they were waiting on parts
Anthony..Ford did it unusual on the 4.6...the 4.6 came in the 91 Lincoln, and the Ford and Mercury in 92. Just an FYI.
Thank you for the specifics!
@@specialtymotorcars I know you are a specs kind of guy, so, I just wanted to tell you.
Awesome Car
How much? and when can I buy it?
