It's close enough to perfect for me; as the great song from Alabama said. Only change would be bucket seats and console shifter like the other one you had and dark tinted windows. Keep em coming! Love time capsules.
This is one of my dream cars. This or the similar Lincolns. I was looking at the sold cars on your dealer website. I also love the supercharged GM 3800 cars. I had a 2000 Buick ultra. Bought it in 2004 with 66k miles and drove it daily for 15 years and got rid of it with over 366k miles. I also had a 1995 Olds 98 Regency with the non supercharged 3800. It looked just like the '95 Buick Ultra you sold. It was more of a purple color, though. It got t-boned sitting in my driveway. A pickup entered my yard on the property line, crossed my front yard, barely missing a tree that I wish he would have hit instead of my car. He hit the car right between the two drivers' side doors. My car went airborne, turned 180° and landed two car widths in the grass on the other side of the driveway. My daughter lives next door on that side, and the truck went into her yard and drove throug the ditch and back onto the road and left the scene leaving his spare tire that was hanging underneath the bed behind. It was in my driveway next to where my car had been parked.
Amazing time capsule! The only thing I never like about these cars was the rear legroom, when I sit in it, almost no one can sit behind me. I loved my Flex for that!
@@Kjhgr01 the town car was still longer than the mgm and crown Vic. I own one, and my brother has an mgm. The town car is 3” longer than the mercury, and has significantly more leg room. Then the long wheelbase town car has 6” more of legroom than the standard car
This 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis LS ULTIMATE is a perfect TIME MACHINE and wear white gloves and covers on your shoes when driving this Car❣....Thanks Bob 👍 Old F-4 II Shoe🇺🇸
We had a 2007 Ultimate Grand Marquis with the same color interior Cream Beige exterior fully loaded even had the factory Mercury remote start was a joy to drive we bought it in 2008 with 11000 miles got rid of it in 2015 with 199000 miles only normal service and tires.
Wow, I never even heard of the Ultimate and I'm a big-car guy. I am however disappointed that it doesn't have a burgundy interior when you could still get an interior that isn't black, beige or gray...
I was just wanting to know the price since I didn't see it on the website......no doubt it sold, but gotta know your price anyway, just for S&G's....I was really interested! Have an '05 LTC that's like new, low miles but not this low!
What is the most I should expect pay for a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Premium Sedan 4D with 105,000 miles, one owner no wrecks. I know there a lot of other factors.
Bought this car NEW, $5,000 under the invoice. Yes, factory rebate. Under the invoice price, not sticker. Factory Ordered, On delivery day the rebate was $5,000.
I just purchased a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis ls ultimate edition with 35,000 miles in the same condition. 1 owner car. It has more controls on the steering wheel, wood and leather steering wheel, and the upgraded radio. Paid 10k
As Lee Iacocca used to say "if you can find a better car, buy it." Ford hasn't built these in twelve years. Panther cars are all over the place. Likely you can find one with much higher mileage and not nearly as nice for less money. But if you want THIS one, it's going to cost you. I completely agree with that
@@rsplines12 Great, glad he can get it, the more the better! I made components for this car...and the Crown Vic & Lincoln Town Car! *I can name hundreds of cars that can do 200,000 miles though. These (and the Crown Vics) are not rare cars by any means, they were meant for the middle class/upper class at the time.
@@houseofno They haven't built anything as good as this since. The Panther platform and GM's G platform (3800) are more reliable and cheaper to repair than anything built nowadays except for the last few generations of Toyota. We'll have to see how Toyota's turbo hybrids hold up.
SOLD!
I bet!
What a fortunate new owner. Have a great weekend Bob from Australia.
Was going to ask if you could ship it to Australia?
@@Dylan_Mulvaney_OFFICIAL Really?
@@Dylan_Mulvaney_OFFICIAL we sold a Delorean that went to Australia.
I've got a 1996 with 500,000 miles and it still purrs like a kitten. Probably some of the best cars Ford has ever produced. GREAT VIDEO!
It is MIND BLOWING how clean this car is! Saw it on the Car Wizard. Unbelievable.
I just saw that too and I'm wondering if they've been passing it around, upping the price each time somebody has it for sale.
A lot of the later Ultimates had blanks for the fog lights. Glad to see this lives more up to the name!
That is one heck of an beautiful example of a Ford panther platform car!

The town car was better for that. Longer wheelbase and body.
@@vintagefancollector1436 You have to be careful with those. They had a trim with the longer wheelbase, not all TC were the same size.

This is such a jewel! Love the color combo!
I love my Grand Marquis. The only thing I've had to fix on it was the AC thermostat.
I've only had to change the front brakes pads so far, but I've put on some wheels and sway bars for the handling

If i had the money to buy that car i would buy and bring it to california
If my parents were still alive, I'd buy this for them and wholesale their old Camry ;)
