This is an incredible series, Nathan! I am from Saskatoon and seeing these great landmarks filmed with great footage really highlights the tranquility of the province. I am an avid cyclist and look forward to the rest of your films
I watch most of the videos in the "long bike trek" genre. Yours cinematography is the best, especially your incredible drone footage. I also appreciate the spare narration. Can't wait for you to drop your Manitoba footage.
Very nice video, as usual. These are more move shorts than just videos. I personally would like to see your camping. I would use my drone for "ride in - ride out shots" then you wouldn't have to go back for your camera and tripod. Many great adventures buddy!
What an amazing series! Spectacular images, great scenes and narrative. What more could you ask for? Some of the best videos on bike travel that I have seen. Thanks for posting, really inspiring !😊
It was great to see you getting off the freeway and on the dirt and taking your time through this beautiful province. I'm going to have to watch more of these. I've driven all over the prairies hauling tractors and the like with my dodge and flatbed and I can say that backroads are most definitely the way to see it. When I bike across Canada I'm going to go up as far north as I can through SK, on a fat bike with the dogs, and really take our time to pick our way through the grassland, parkland, and boreal.
Me too! Riding from Flin Flon, MB to home Bellingham, WA USA 🇺🇸 begining in July 2023. Saskatchewan is very quiet, safe and its residents very friendly.
@@jimlegalley6656 Yeah, when I rode through Saskatchewan years back, they were the most respectful drivers in Canada at the time. I was very impressed and enjoyed it a lot.
I'm looking forward most are small city campgrounds with grassy sites. Greater opportunities to meet folks and relax. Using my tarp over tent this year in event of rainy weather. In addition, all roads in Saskatchewan have some form of shouldering thus reducing risk of being hit. Manitoba has greatest percentage of unshouldered roads. I know from direct experience how dangerous that was with huge grain trucks in the mix.
@@jimlegalley6656 I recall grassy city campgrounds from my trip before as well in Saskatchewan. And yeah, Manitoba roads, where I recently moved to, are the worst.
Lynne and I rode some of those backroads that form part of the TCT Northeast of Diefenbaker Lake in September of last year and unlike the mud you found, after some time without rain, we found ankle deep powder that sometimes forced us into the stubble fields. And I see the TCT east of Madge Lake is drier than the last time we rode it but just as rough. Beautiful Video Nathan. We are glad you enjoyed Saskatchewan.
Thanks Merlin and Lynne again so much for your hospitality! Wow, seems like that gravel would be tough riding then no matter the weather. I avoided a flooded section West of Madge Lake I think you had mentioned, and cut straight North beside the small Green Lake. It passed through private property, though I was lucky to see the owner before I went through and he was kind to let me walk across his lawn to reconnect to the TCT. Once I passed into Manitoba, there were sections of the crocus trail there that were definitely flooded by the beavers, that was an experience!
Stunningly beautiful three videos Nathan. Impressive that you could take time out of your ride to film so much (and fly the drone😮), and I can't imagine, having followed you through Europe on Strava, how or when you managed to edit these. Well done sir, and I'm looking forward to many more 😅.
This video is amazing in so many ways. I love all your shots, landscape, editing, narrating, your bike, your gears, etc. Fabulous! Can't wait until the next episode!
So glad to see you got through Saskatchewan, beautiful sunsets, flat land prairie and gumbo!! And I thought I heard coyotes howling at the start. Great video!! Thanks for sharing.

You NEED to contact Canadian Tourism and they should hire you to promote your country. Omg. You do amazing work.
Excellent video. Love the series!

Відео кадри на заході сонця дуже гарні! А особливо приємно дивитись зараз у березні на ту літню зелену траву.
i miss the prairies...
Great video! You captured the essence of Sk where we once lived. Looking forward to your Manitoba part where we now live.
Amazing stuff :)
