Thanks for sharing your early spring video! So excited for ranunculus and all your anemone varieties. Question for you... I'm putting up a low tunnel (4 feet high), do you think I can follow your unheated greenhouse timing or would a low tunnel be cooler and therefore a bit further behind? I'm trying to perfect my ranunc timing as I'm always a bit late and want to hit the right time this year. Thanks!
What zone are you in? Last year we put ranunculus in unheated tunnels in February and had blooms around Mother's Day. Ranunculus are surprisingly hardy for cold, it's really the excess moisture you need to watch out for. Keep frost cloth on hand if you're concerned about really cold nights, still. I like to have them at the "just sprouted" stage, as they'll grow on their own, quite happily.
@@greenbeefloralco Thank you! I'm colder than you in 4b. Last year I put the tunnels up for the first time but didn't get anything in the ground until late March. I know I can do earlier, just wasn't sure how early to push the window. Appreciate it!
Thanks Green Bee - another great video. I’m having trouble with chipmunks, rabbits and wild turkeys in my vegetable garden. What is the fencing you are using? How do you put it up? Do you bury it in the ground? Any info would be appreciated.

Hi! We use plastic poultry netting that we got at our local hardware store. It rolls up in the spring and stores. I cannot say that I have any expertise on keeping chipmunks or turkeys out of gardens as my home garden is in town, but I do find that burying chicken wire fencing certainly keeps the rabbits out. We also have 3 dogs, and rabbits sort of enter at their own risk, now. ;)

What temperature do you keep the first greenhouse? Do you heat the greenhouse for the tulips? Thank you.
