Not sure if you’re on Tiktok, but it’s a phrase used by Knitty (she’s Canadian. We love her). It’s in my vernacular along with “It’s the moist!” ☺️

      Thanks for subscribing and welcome!
We timelapse in the store because we usually have music playing for customers and we don’t want a copyright infraction 🤣. We will definitely do some real time flower design in the summer when we get into market season though!

How long can you store anemones and ranunculus in the cooler? And do you dry store or in water?
Thanks for another great video, you guys are expanding the farm so much which is super exciting 😊

Love muscari. I’m happy for you on the ongoing success and growth of your farm. I also love the way you wrap your bouquets. I wish it was slower with a step by step process. What size kraft paper and tissue do you use?

I do have a video on making market bouquets - it hasn’t changed much in two years, but I can do an updated one this season. ☺️
18” square kraft paper from ULine. The tissue we get from our floral supply company.

    I have a couple questions
What is your process of overwintering ranunculus where you are?
I'm in 8b and I think mine just rot in the ground....
Also....do you pull your ranunculus corms after they sprout in your tunnels ? Do you let the foliage die back before pulling the corms out ? Or do you just leave them and replant every year ??
I was wondering if you have to leave the foliage like you do with daffodils??
You have grown so much over the last couple years...its very impressive ....great job

We're in zone 6a, so we presoak corms for overwintering in mid july and plant in September. We allow them to grow roots and small sprouts and then put them in the tunnel. Usually we see growth in December/January. They are drip irrigated every 2-3 days, but not more than that. Cold won't kill the corms, but too much water definitely will. We pull corms before foliage dies all the way back, then let them dry out. We do also grow some patented varieties that need to be destroyed every year.
I do generally reorder corms each year because I can't always predict that the used corms from the year before will be productive.

I watched the video twice to make sure I didn't miss it - but how do you store the Mascari in your cooler for later use? In water, out of water, wrapped? I've never grown it before but just ordered some for 2025 after watching you harvest it and had to get some for our flower stand arrangements!

LOVE IT. It’s such a sweet little addition to arrangements. I missed the harvest window on the white and pink, and I may still add more to the wholesale order for 2025. 😆
