    I really wanted to see how you boil the parts. In the manual it says that you have to ensure the parts aren’t touching the sides of the pan when boiling. How on earth is that possible. Surely when it boils, it will move and touch the side of the pan. Are you able to do a demonstration?

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just make sure the pan you are using is large enough to have some free space around the parts. It is inevitable that they will touch the sides of the pan at some point. Just keep an eye on it and if needed you can use tongs to move them around while it is boiling.

    As another option for sterilizing parts (those that are safe to sterilize in the microwave specifically), if you own a pressure cooker, 15 minutes under high pressure is also a very effective way to sterilize almost anything. There has been a fair bit written about smaller labs without access to an autoclave using pressure cookers to sterilize their tools.

      It’s not recommended to use to the microwave to sterilize any of the parts

      @@Jessicasandstreetsniffle thanks for the insight! Just as a note you can use the Momcozy Microwave Steam Sterilizer Bags for Momcozy pumps, except for the M5.

    Can I use a sterilization machine instead of boiling the parts after washing?

      Momcozy do not recommend using a Microwave or UV sterilizer with their pumps, however for the Momcozy S9 Pro/S12 Pro/V1/V2 they do state you can use their Steam Sterilizer Bags amzn.to/4d30Gxb (#ad)
      Another option is using Milton Sterilizing tablets amzn.to/4ekTL3y (#ad)

    Can you use a bottle sanitizer in stead of boiling waiter ?

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I believe you can for the S12 Pro, S9 Pro, V1 & V2.
      The user manual for the M5 states 'Do not sterilize pump parts in a microwave or UV sterilizer.'

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I assume you are referring to the Momcozy M5, and the recommendation is not to use a heat sterilize system with it, but rather boil. That said I have not used a sterilizing machine with it, if you decide to test it out, I'd love to know how it goes :)
