Tbh I have a iveco daily which I repair my self I've done turbo ,egr ,brakes and a bunch more with little to no software the only thing what the garage had to do was replace the towing ecu which are prone for problems hope this helps

In my personal opinion I’d buy a horse and cart before an Iveco. But I accept I am cynical. DAF LF is a good box truck also MAN TGL, easy enough to maintain almost all will need plugging in at some point.

Good luck finding something that never needs plugging in on diagnostics! Also avoid automatics or semi automatics!
