Hello from Ireland big fella, just discovered your channel. I'm a van deweller myself, I'm a long distance lorry driver and only get home a couple days per week. So was a no brainer for me, why have a home sitting empty when out on the road with work. But however I'm renting a unit where I keep my camper out of the harse weather especially in the winter and I can plug it in to mains electricity. And summer head out about. Tbh I wouldn't do it any other way I love it. Loving your content 👌
A friend of mine did similar to you, didn’t sell his house, released equity by way of equity release. Bought a 2021 Mercedes lwb all signing all dancing awd. Lives in his mobile palace between south of France and Spain for 9 months of the year. Said it’s the best thing he’s ever done. Made loads of new friends, some serious you tube van lifers on his travels. Comes home for Xmas, spend time with family, gets his palace serviced, beginning of March, that’s it he’s off, said he’ll give it up when funds run out but he’s been lucky, does bar work in both countries for a few months at a time, keeps him going with fuel food etc.

I love it , has its ups and downs but that’s life !! Glad he enjoys it !
