This was 2,25" square chess board. I tried to make "levitating" playing surface. It was a long work. It took me two weeks to make these chessboards.

Simply stunning. My only suggestion, screw the top down for the shipping box so that it can be more easily opened without having to pry it open at delivery and possibly damage the board.

The wedge is genius. I've encountered the same problem cutting thicker stock and didn't want it to burn. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best. Thanks.

It's been 2 years since I watch your videos especially this one. The flow you implement in making these boards indicate that you've come a long way. I really feel quite relaxed and euphoric watching this video mehn. Your craft inspires me to own this board some day as a masterpiece and something I'd wanna age with to be honest. I sincerely hope it'll be available by the time I make a buying decision.

The padauk and maple really compliment each other on your chess board. You are a true craftsman, as you pay close attention to the details of the build. I love your shop and woodworking equipment, too, especially the shaper and CNC. You extend your skills and craftsmanship into your shipping crate, too, as the chess board was a piston fit when placed into the crate. Extremely nice, my friend, extremely nice. Loved the video and the build.

Yet another masterpiece. I'd love to spend a day in your shop just learning as much as possible. I'm about to make my first chessboard. I admit I'm a bit nervous. Zebrawood and wengue is probably not the wisest start... but it's what I have. 😳
