Jaw-dropping. Such an elegant design. The production process you use is so informative, and the results are always top-notch. Enough about the beautiful project… I have to say your production, lighting, photography and editing efforts are not going unnoticed. Absolutely stunning work, and I’m always eager to watch the next one. Kudos, sir! You are very good at what you do!
@@weberwoodshop came here to say the same thing. You production value and art direction in the editing sound design, voice over, and sound track are all as good as the wood working. First time in awhile that I've stumbled on a new channel and just watched the first 20min+ video straight through without even noticing the time.
I don't even smoke cigars but watched this intently from start to finish. I couldn't look away... I could watch you work for hours. This was phenomenal. You are a true artist and brilliant with wood. Thank you for sharing your gift!
Ok that was one of the most enjoyable youtube videos I've seen in a very long time. From the music you chose, the build, the video editing, the commentary, and the final product... your truly unique humidor... it was all a first rate presentation.... THANK YOU!

Not only is this humidor possibly the finest woodworking project I've seen on TH-cam, but the composition of this video amplifies it. If there are awards to be won for TH-cam videos, this one deserves it. The fact that you not only put on a masterclass of woodworking and design, but also shoot and edit it to perfection is impressive. I can further appreciate the time it takes to complete a project, balancing family and work life among other things. This is my first time stumbling upon your channel, and you have earned a subscription. It's a joy to watch you work, and the distance between videos just makes each one count that much more. This is the third or fourth time I've watched this hypnotic video and each time I expect to feel like: "Okay, been there, done that, I'm bored now." But strangely, the exact opposite happens. I am more and more 'shaken' for lack of a better word - every time. I just started my woodworking journey and I am 74 now, have no formal training and father time is not on my side. But that doesn't matter. What really matters is that creators like you and others (Sam Maloof comes to mind) have blessed me and many others I'm sure, with the sacred gift of inspiration. That's good enough for me. Thank you Blake.♥By the way, as a professional composer I found the music you used to be magical as the backdrop for this video. So, the time and effort you put into sound design was a brilliant investment. A few moments ago I purchased the same router bit you used so I can "borrow' your technique for creating that lovely diamond texture. It will be used on a mallet I was commissioned to build. Again, thank you!
I've watched several box building videos and this is by far the best one I have ever seen. You are a true artisan. Congratulations on a beautiful build.
one of the best woodworking videos i’ve ever seen. You know how watching certain smokers makes you want to smoke? Like Sean Penn makes me miss cigarettes. you can tell he loves it. snoop loves the way a blunt tastes. Mike Tyson smoking a joint… Watching you make this was like that. The attention to detail, exact measurements, the tactile appreciation of the piece. the sounds…dammit. all of it is so well done. Makes me wanna.

A new Weber video = solitude, a large screen, headphones, and a fresh coffee. This was stunning - the story, process, cinematography, and of course the finished piece - absolutely the highest quality content I subscribe to on TH-cam. Thank you Mr Weber, it is appreciated.
Just when I thought I've seen all the best TH-cam woodworking content and started getting bored, this pops up in my feed. Holy hell, you've refreshed me. Incredible design, incredible build, incredible details, incredible production and cinematography. Instant sub.
Great design, outstanding craftsmanship, excellent tools and techniques. All in all resulting in a functionally convincing item of use and somehow - yes - a piece of art. As good or even better: the photography, the didactic visual concept and the vivid professional editing. Hats off! Chapeaux!

This humidor is exquisite. You are blessed to have the patients and know how to create masterpieces like this. You are an inspiration. I look so forward to your upcoming videos
Wow.. this was actually a pleasure to watch. I bet he spends as much time editing and choosing music than he does working. The music was perfectly chosen and those angles and close up shots were next level
It is the harmonious contrast between the materials used, the design that employs these materials with precision, and the high craftsmanship in execution that makes this piece naturally beautiful and desirable without being extravagant. Thank you for sharing.
Omg Blake!! You’ve done it again. Your skills as a woodworker are only mirrored by your skill as a filmmaker. You’re amazing. What I particularly love about your work is the thoughtful process and your deep love for details. I see that mirrored in cuts of your video: taping, glueing, adjusting. I see myself messing around and feel: I can do better, I saw how it may be done. Thank you, I am inspired.
What a joy to watch! Just everything about it, the design of the box to the camera work, to the editing and that music selection was ON POINT. As a woodworking enthusiast and a professional video producer, this video gave me all the pink fuzzies inside 😊 great work!!
It’s a very special day when we get a new Blake Weber upload! I wish your videos weren’t quite so rare, but they are always solid gold productions. Gorgeous, phenomenal design and build!
I watch an enormous amount of woodworking videos these days. It is rare that I come across surprise and new in woodworking, but that humidor is one of the most beautiful textured boxes I have seen. The jig for creating the texture and the way you created the overlap for the lid, mind blown! Your technique is well explained and executed, and I have just the friend (been pondering a gift idea for him for a while now) that will probably receive the equivalent of this from me as soon as I can get the time. Thank you for this video and idea. Your video production and editing skills are not unoticed as well. Very well done!!!! Thank you for sharing, subbed and liked! ~A fan
Magnificent!!...I can imagine so many uses for such a beautiful box, other than as a Humidor...the addition of the glass panel is a masterstroke...once again, your choice of accompanying music is perfect...thank you...dgp/uk
The awesome things that you build and show on this channel are the kind of pieces that will make people happy over and over again. It will go through the years of one happy person finding it and taking it home and then another. As long as they are taken care of and haven't been destroyed in a accident, a house fire, or any other disaster then it will continue. Even in 300 years these furniture pieces will be timeless because they are functional, artful, they are build well, and they look so great!
Wow! Two real works of art here Blake. The build is beautiful and the video is one of the best I’ve seen on TH-cam for sure. This was just such a joy to watch, from the music choice to the editing and tactical use of shop noise. Just awesome. Thank you mate 😊

Easily the best woodworking content I’ve seen on YT. The pieces you make are just magnificently detailed, and the production level is pro level. The music choices, the amount and type of narration- all just perfect! I also love that you never tout for subscriptions - so naturally I subscribed 😊 Would be amazing to see a collaboration between you and Kyle Royer. He’s a Damascus knife maker whose meticulous attention to detail is on the same level to yours. A blade made by him and a display cabinet made by you - that would be legendary
We all clearly unanimously agree this is art! Both the humidor _(I had to look it up, no clue what it was, but who cares! Gorgeous!)_ and the video production are of such a quality, I was mesmerised throughout the entire video. Lighting, music; the calmness of a quiet evening at a lake, absolutely price worthy. If there would be an Oscar for best TH-cam video, this would be it. Gobsmacked, in awe and jealous, very jealous on your amazing skill set! Liked and subscribed

I have to say I haven't watched the build yet but I was so sad that you weren't uploading anymore of them. Now I'm like a kid at Christmas! This was simply amazing work all around Blake! From the woodworking to the filming and editing. And that’s coming from a photo/video professional and a hobby woodworker!
I came across this video by happenstance and I'm so glad that I did. I have many interests. Among them are, cigars, woodworking, and video creation. Your attention to detail in this project, including the woodworking and video creation, is top-tier. I just subscribed and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your amazing work.
This is truly a work of art and I don't think there is a currency that can cover its value. I watched the video from beginning to end with great pleasure and did not miss a single second of it.
The creativity and precision with which you approached this project is nothing less than impressive. A task like this could have gone wrong at any step but you marched through the process like a pro. Even your jigs were finely tuned to guarantee each job was completed properly. And, I really enjoyed how you shaped the splines to match the diamond cut ebony, as well as the little rhythmic sawing with the music. Which, by the way, I'd also like to mention your production value. Your footage as well as your editing and pacing is some of the best here on TH-cam - and that's difficult to do with a "how to" or "maker" video. The care you put into your work, both your wood works and producing the videos, reflects the character of a good man. I look forward to more in the future. Congratulations on such fine work and stay safe on the job. Troy
This video was so relaxing, and the piece is... mind-blowingly beautiful. I commend you for how meticulous you are with your wood-working; reminds me of my dad building doll furniture for my sister and I, and how much he enjoyed the details and how it all came together like he planned. Thank you for the vid (btw, gorgeous videography skills too!)
That is the coldest black box (humidor) I could ever imagine. Love how you couple using your laser to make jigs for the process. That is a beautiful work of art. I have got to somewhat copy your work and process. Looking at using my Japanese router jig to create texture in a box but with your spin. Thanks for the inspiration.
"...put a lot of time and thought into sound design." I noticed; I appreciated (and, yes, I wear headphones when watching youtube) - the quality matches that of your woodwork. Thank you.
I can honestly say about 3 weeks ago I was wondering when you were going to post again. I made my wife the leaf box and promised I would fill it with useless expensive jewelry she won’t wear. I take a lot of inspiration from you. Thank you for protecting people and entertaining us at the same time.
Mother of God! What a find! So glad i found your channel - new subscriber achieved! Your content, video production and ... well, everything really, suggests to me that you must be an accomplished and considerate lover! I'm gonna binge the rest of your videos. Just sublime - thank you so much.
Wow, I'm speechless. Everything in this video is so meticulously and tastefully executed. From the woodworking itself to the lighting, photography, editing, narration and music, everything is crisp and flawless. As a woodworking hobbyist, I can imagine and I admire the amount of work and dedication you put into this to achieve this result. Hats off, Sir, you just won a new subscriber.
I find your videos extremely satisfying and relaxing. And I love your art. I would never think to do something like this and it's so beautifully executed. great job!

Today was the first time I've ever watched one of your INCREDIBLE videos.... Thank you so much for sharing your beyond exceptional craftsmanship with the world 👍🏻🥃
One thing that stands out besides the jigs and pattern and how you got it how similar that ebony looks to cutting blocks of dark chocolate! Literally at times it looks like you’re shaping chocolate, love the combination of Spanish Cedar and Ebony!!! You always amaze me with your creativity, craftsmanship and I’m so glad you threw out the damn cnc! Sorry I love to see solutions for creating consistent patterns or whatever without a machine doing it instead! Your jig was simple yet smart and reliable! Can’t wait for the next one, your work is some of the finest art in my opinion
The first time I brought that piece into the house after making the pattern my kids asked me if it was a giant chocolate bar and they were super disappointed 😂
your videography has improved so much. production value is off the charts, especially the sound production. Blake, you're killing it. I can't afford your work, but I hope this sells fast for you. It's stunning

Dude. Amazing video. Exactly the right balance of narration and good (unique) soundtrack, cinematic shots, informative. And much respect for making such an awesome project and video in a regular guys garage with a regular guys job and no CNC.

I subscribed to your channel and hope to see your next project. P.S. now that I think of it, the video was calming, maybe it was the music choice or perhaps I just find woodworking calming in of itself.

Congratulations on such fine work and stay safe on the job. Troy
Thank you!
Wonderful. I love your videos. I'm not a wood worker, but i enjoy the art of creation. Thank you for creating.
thank you for the level of detail on this build , lots of hints for us weekend woodworkers, nice project
What in the world. Your attention to detail is immaculate. Stellar craftsmanship.
Thank you!
Thank you!
You are my favorite woodworker to watch. I’m so glad to see a new project… and what a project. Breathless.
Wow, thank you!
Your attention to detail sets you apart. Brilliant. Thank you for your service firemen.
Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic work, as always Blake. The pattern is stunning. So glad to see you post a new video!
Thank you!
Pure symphony of woodcraft! I'm in awe at your skill and creativity! Thank you!
That is awesome! Thank you!
Mother of God! What a find! So glad i found your channel - new subscriber achieved!
Your content, video production and ... well, everything really, suggests to me that you must be an accomplished and considerate lover! I'm gonna binge the rest of your videos.
Just sublime - thank you so much.
Great to see you back once again with an absolutely exquisite build. Your attention to detail is near unmatched.
Thanks! Glad to be back.
Thank you!
I find your videos extremely satisfying and relaxing. And I love your art. I would never think to do something like this and it's so beautifully executed. great job!
Stunning results! You create really beautiful wood work. Thanks for taking the extra time and effort to share your projects with us.

Im truly amazed at the design and quality of your work! This is the first time that i have seen your chanel and i sure will be looking out for more of your projects in future.
Beautiful box! Thank you.
Today was the first time I've ever watched one of your INCREDIBLE videos.... Thank you so much for sharing your beyond exceptional craftsmanship with the world 👍🏻🥃
Thank you!
You're one of my favourite TH-camr woodworkers. Glad to see something new from you! Thanks
Thank you! Its good to be back!
I want to find a sheet metal working channel like this. Mellow dude that make great looking stuff to perfection.
This is the first video I've seen of yours. Wow, your work is exceptional.
your videography has improved so much. production value is off the charts, especially the sound production. Blake, you're killing it. I can't afford your work, but I hope this sells fast for you. It's stunning
Thank you so much!
wow!, what an amazing video to watch, I could not stop watching, excellent content, great craftsmanship, it was a pleasure watch looks forward to the next one
This is exactly the woodworking content I want more of - I'm learning techniques and I'm entertained by the process.
Thank you!
Stunning. Really beautiful work and beautiful video. Thank you for transporting us to a creative place.
Wow. I'm virtually new to your channel and your work has completely blown me away. You can see the love you put into each piece, your very soul shines through.
Looking forward to watching your next video
Wow, thank you!
Your choice of music, lighting, different camera shots and sliders, video editing AND a woodworking skill on a level that I've not seen before on TH-cam!
Just WOW! Keep up the good work!
God bless!
Thank you!
Your level of craftsmanship continues to amaze me. Keep building these amazing projects.
Thank you!
I watch a lot of videos, but they're usually just background while I work on something else. Yours are different. You have my undivided attention. Your work is next level every...single...time. The fact that you are capable of such artistry restores my faith in humanity. Good work, sir. Thank you.
Wow, thank you so much!
Dude. Amazing video. Exactly the right balance of narration and good (unique) soundtrack, cinematic shots, informative. And much respect for making such an awesome project and video in a regular guys garage with a regular guys job and no CNC.
Thank you so much!
Amazing. Could barely contain my excitement when I saw that you uploaded this morning. Fantastic and inspiring work as always.
Ah thank you!
I’m new to your channel and I’m blown away by your precision and attention to detail.
Thank you!
Brother….. your style is addictive!
I love how you make your videos and I love how you make your pieces!!!
I'm not even into cigars and watched this entire video. Excellent filming and I found each new thing you made to help you complete the project as interesting as the project itself. I subscribed to your channel and hope to see your next project. P.S. now that I think of it, the video was calming, maybe it was the music choice or perhaps I just find woodworking calming in of itself.
You're just like, so talented. Honestly, i think you should have created a whole line of the rainbow piece. Like everything else you made is stunning, but that rainbow one was breathtaking.
Absolutely beautiful, love the contrast between the ebony and spanish cedar. And the diamond pattern is flawless !! Well done indeed.
Thank you very much!
