Terrific !!! Like George Bernard Shaw said , "a gentleman is someone who puts more back into the world than what they take out" . Neat comtent as always ! ☺
As usual, right on point OG! Forgiveness is probably the hardest spiritual principle to practice consistently, but it is the door that leads to serenity!
Excellent advice brother. One rule that I think could be added is one that I learned from my father: Never date a woman that one of your friends dated. Your friend may say that it is okay, but once you do that, it could cause friction between you and your friend. Besides, women outnumber men 5 to 1. There's plenty of women out there so there is no need to do that.
It's so crazy how I saw and felt about myself the time I first tapped subscribe button and how I see myself now. I have more luck with girls, I'm still leveling up my game when it comes to conversations with people and my style has leveled up. Mad love for ya Jeff
Jeff you have a special place in my YT heart, as a viewer who exclusively watches bodybuilding/fitness/health you are the one outside channel i HAD to follow
I'm 22 Ive been thru some things this last few years and I've been watching your videos while I get back on track. I just got an apartment for my son and girlfriend and I'm taking it 1 day at a time. I appreciate what your doing for young men that didn't have much guidance growing up 💪💯 Thank You
Awesome video Jeff! You're wisdom and videos are my weekly bread, keeping me updated and growing as a person. Good one on foundation of shoes, tires and mattress. I like that one. Balance in life is something i learned years ago.
Great video and topic. Some of the other rules I live by is owning what I get or do wrong and making amends when I am wrong. One of the best ways to keep the rules O.G. mentioned is to not allow a great deal of garbage to infiltrate your mind and roll around in it (like toxic behavior, corrosive speech, and/or disruptive thoughts to name a few). As always an on time video and absolutely outstanding work good Sir!
True brother kindness is taken for weakness and I had suffered many backstabbing when I was in my lowest days but as I became strong and rose up in my life I had to forgive the backstabbers but I didn't forget what they did......Thank you brother for pointing out a valuable lesson.....🙏🏿👍🏿
I put proportionally more effort into my relationships than my career or job bc overtime you see how work is a constant. There is always going to be things that those in power will be unwilling or unable to do and for which they are willing to pay someone else to do. Relationships on the other hand, are not something easily postponed or put on the back burner. Once your opportunity with a loved one is missed it can be difficult, if not impossible to get that momentum back bc people are very sensitive emotional creatures. And it's always best to deal with issues as in the moment as possible.
7:00 an additional corollary: include the home office chair in that foundational pennies budget! Like shoes and a bed, when you aren’t in one, you are in the other.
Good stuff again Jeff kindness Principles Exercise learn Every day big one I struggled with especially in school asking what I don't know. Bit never had a problem with asking help in directions before GPS my now ex wife use to get mad all good stuff I'm 64 I come here cause I don't know everything thank you
Style OG I appreciate your content especially your delivery one of the few channels that I share with my son. We usually have in depth conversations on the topics.
Jeff, these 12 rules are right on time. Just like Omar from the Wire. Both of you are true OG’s. You continue to drop the knowledge and the true meaning of being a man.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I don't understand how people say racism is a thing. I'm a white 23year old coming to this beautiful black gentleman for advice. Keep slaying my man. Much respect
Yo Jeff, on the topic of overdressing vs underdressing: you can always dress down if you wear a suit to a casual event (lose the jacket, lose the tie, roll up your sleeves, unbutton your collar)...but if you are underdressed at a formal event (like wearing a short sleeved shirt, jeans or slacks and boots at a black tie or evening event), man it's best you go right back home cause you can't mask that at all. Shout out from Trinidad & Tobago!!
Good afternoon @style O.G. Jeff as always you shooting straight facts #nocap. All these are or should be the standard by which we live and are also judged by. You know that you always mention the proper hygiene routine but that most likely goes without saying here, but never hurts to repeat a necessary good such as that. On occasions the work interview can have the bonus factor of dressing appropriate and its given in the clue of where the interview will take place besides the job applied for; I once had an interview at the job site for janitor work so I showed up in ready to work tonight clothes as opposed to all office work dress code as others there applying were dressed. And as always your fits are on point but then out of dress code for you just can't happen even if you tried. Be well stay safe GOD bless you and take care. SALUTE
Jeff you kept it all the way 💯 here! 👍 I'm learning to be kind and not nice. I like the rule on forgiving but I don't have to forget. I especially agree with getting the best shoes mattress and tires I can afford! 👍 These rules are great to live by! You're a wise man Jeff! I'm glad you have a you tube channel. Keep spreading this knowledge! Salute!!
# 1 is my biggest flaw I subconsciously do it and feel alot of ppl do hence why I don't have social media and haven't for the past 2 years I'm happier without it besides I care not about other ppl though and opinions as well.
@@TheStyleOG Isn’t that a great proverb? I regret not having learned it much earlier in life. On occasions, I have broken both the first and second parts to my loss.
Hello Jeff! Love the video! I am new to the channel but have enjoyed it "from day one"! The topic selection is current and trending, the "smooth", professional, and respectful way that you "deliver" the content is appealing to women and appreciated! It is so refreshing to see a stylish, confident successful, authentic, "brother" putting this positive information out there! Wishing you continued success with the channel.
I was talking to a very attractive lady. Known her about a month. As we were talking on the phone and she said certain things that bothers her. So I mentioned to her that you must have things about me that bothers you. She said yes...When she told me she didn't want to date me or have a relationship. I was honest and didn't hold back...I do not want to be in any friend zone. As we still talking, she was getting louder and madder. She having flash backs about her ex husband. All of a sudden she said I'm pissed and hung on me. I am not going to apologize. I was honest and definitely I am not going to apologize. I didn't no wrong and to her what was on my mind. So it has been a month with no contact and feel great.

This is another video with powerful content these videos inspire and motivate me get on my grind . Awesome as always Jeff , still waiting for the Jophur boots look book as fall is here. 13. Pay your debts completely and as soon as is required and never value the opinions of those who do not do the same.
Shoes are also foundations for the rest of your body. Because; if your feet hurt? Nothing else matters.
Thanks for the time stamps

That one on forgiveness is fantastic. I've heard it said: Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.
Forgiveness isn’t just for the person you are forgiving. It’s for you so you can move on from the situation and not dwell on it any further.
Yup!
