Has anyone in Japan put a tuned k20/k24 in a ae101-ae111 chassis with either the k series trans or the sw20 mr2 3sgte 5 speed transmission, or has anyone swapped the drivetrain out of a st205 celica gt4 (alltrak)into a ae101-ae111 chassis the rear subframe from the st205 bolts in 2 of the 4 chassis mounts, just need to make pedestals for the rear 2 subframe mounts and shorten the driveshaft and use rav 4 trans mount and engine side mounts this is almost a bolt in swap from a st205 into a ae111-ae101
I don’t see the real gain from doing either things. They are better in their designated chassis that’s had professional engineers design. Might as well just tune the 20v 4age in the Corolla and focus on suspension n weight reduction.

DC2は何度か乗った事があったけど、EGシビックのプラットフォームに、EK9よりハイパワーなB18Cを載せちゃったという所が、過激で変態な車だったな〜
僕のDC2はフルクロス＋ファイナル変更していますが、マジで高速道路の移動が辛いですwww
しかも、5,200rpmでVTEC入るECUなので、新東名の流れに乗るとVTEC入りっぱなしですwww
でもTC2000では全てのコーナーでギアが合うので気持ちいいし速いですね！

青のインテR初めて見た
これクロスミッションの場合は9500じゃなくて9000でシフトした方が速いと思う。
フルクロスの場合は2→3速のステップ比が1.274だから9500シフトだと7456回転になる。9000シフトにすると7064回転。
B18Cは8000回転が最大出力だから9000〜9500よりも7000〜7500の方が出力が高いと予想される。
逆にノーマルやファイナル変更のみの場合は、ステップ比1.444で9500シフトの場合6579回転になる。これは9500と6579の丁度真ん中くらいに8000回転が来るので、出力の一番おいしい所を使えている。
チューニングして最高出力回転数が上がっていればいいけど、実際のところカムまで変えなきゃそんなに変わらんからね。
エンジン本体ノーマルでもレッドゾーンプラス１０００回転も回せるってすごい耐久性だよね。今のエンジンは計量コンパクト設計だから絶対持たないよね。
その考え方は違うと思うな。
チューニングしても壊れないって、言ってしまえば過剰品質でしょ？
過剰な耐久性によってコストとエンジン性能は悪化しているはず。
今のエンジンがチューニングすると壊れるっていうのは耐久性のギリギリを攻めていて、それは良い事だと思う。
エンジン改造したい人には物足りないと思うけど、顧客の大多数はノーマルで乗るわけだしね。
