Yeah when I first started collecting currency $2 bills were definitely my top priority. Mainly because they were so abundant and affordable. I could get them out of banks and really cheap from coin shops. It got to be that I had so many $2 red seal bills that I would put them in my wallet and every now and then use them to pay for something. I swear the looks on the cashier’s face was priceless and even though I probably could have gotten maybe $2.50 for it this was worth more than that.

Cool story. You probably could have gotten more than the $2.50 you mentioned, but yes, the looks are always worth it. That happens with regular green seal bills as well.

I use 20 dollar coins a lot in Taiwan. Save space, save coin counting time, less weight, environmental protective. Some vending machines just don't accept it.

Any idea when Series 2021 2s are expected to enter circulation? Or have they and just aren't common?

Great question. I have not heard of their release nor seen them out - otherwise I would have included them in this video. But a series 2021 $2 bill would and should have been released by now since we're two years beyond when it should have come out. I don't think they exist; I get brand new $2s from the bank often and they're always 2017. I also searched eBay and don't see any. But it's possible they were printed and are "behind" all the 2017s that need to get out there first. If I see one,I may actually make a new video just about that!

$2.00 & $5.00 are the most popular, still being made, only real value ones are the numbers, or a star's, either a hollow or full star, or silver certificate, and stamps are big money.just remember every bill you send in to be graded, cost 25.00 per bill.

i JUST saw a video from Recollectio Road about obsolete things from the past.
teh 2 was one of them, he claimed theyre rare and no one uses them. i set him straight, if he sees the comment.

The twos are really not rare at all. Recently I've managed to get 24 bills at a bank in Slovenia, Europe.

It will never be there. Before the 8-digit serial is always the same letter as the district bank from which it was issued (at least on the $2)
