I really like the Observance models. They're unique, and I like the look, and the theme, and the rules! The mimietism and zappers are cool as hell.

Fair point TBH. I haven't really said it explicitly on the channel in that way, but I actually can agree that GW has some strong character designs, and their design language creation and enforcement is generally stronger than Infinity's IMO.
I know that Infinity setting is less irreverent than 40k setting, but the designs in 40k rely less on colors or minutiae to create recognition. I have generally said that Infinity designs are same-y. There are lore reasons why, but I still think it's the responsibility of the character designers and art directors to create that recognition especially at the miniature scale.

I'm in a process of painting Operation Red Veil Yu Jing (Haqq will come later) and just finished Zanshi minis. Now I'm treating myself with Zuyong.
Heavy Infantry minis are what brought me to Infinity! I really like most factions' HI!
Bakunin Observance might have some of the best looking HI!

Im a big fan of nomads. I went to adepticon with money in hand ready to pick these ladies up. But they where out. I could have still pre-ordered. But there was a dealer selling infinity at 30%off so i picked up some stuff i was looking for and i will just pick them up at my LGS.

It might be hot take but i feel like the 3D environent they in which they present (and make battle report ) Is counter-climatic. I mean, it looks great but shouldnt nomads be presented in tiny, claustrphobic spaces? that is their thing. What i see is 40K: thousands meters of wasted just for huge stained glass.

Wow that's a great take! I would agree, but the concept art for the Bakunin mothership looks pretty grandiose. The other two ships look kinda janky or claustro, but the Bakunin one kinda looks spacious and dreamy.
Also, they were kinda going for 40k with this one tho werent they haha

Metallaio!!! I feel the same way! Though I feel like the amount of aliens in Infinity is a divisive topic. Some people think there should be way more, and some people are human-sphere centric.

If you look closely at the dossier art for the Orphan of the Observance, her arm tattoos are the trans symbol and the chemical symbol of oestrogen, so they're actively repping trans rights there.

I was aware of this, but I didn't comment on it, because it can be perceived as overt value-signaling from them. Therefore, I preferred to discuss the philosophy of Bakunin and Observance in regards to trans people rather than call out the logo. I also didn't feel like I was the best vehicle for discussing it in specifics.
