As a die hard life long Laker fan, i absolutely love and respect the nuggets. Last year i hated the disrespect the nuggets were getting. A championship well earned with all teams fully healthy. But honestly maybe we can get one game this year. Two games would be a miracle. But either way i hope it’s a fun and competitive series.
Please know that many here in so cal like the nuggets.

Jokić brought me back to basketball after almost 25 years...heard he was causing a ruckus at the haters camp. And as a Serb we Excell when provoked, sometimes to our detriment. Jokić though...is so calm...with so many uncalled fouls, it's surprising.
This year due to their success, ide say the NBA especially the west have a drive to succeed with all that insane talent. What a year...

Great stuff here! I'd say early on Jokić was a more short-tempered serb with the no calls while looking like he just fought a mountain lion by the look of his arms. Often times like you said, to the detriment of the team. He has really matured & with his rise to dominance, he seems to have figured out mostly how to laugh it off & make you pay on both sides of the court.
I know it used to be a 5 alarm spicy take but a year or two before his first MVP I not only called the MVP, But told my father I ACTUALLY enjoy watching Jok more than I did watching MJ. Now I'm 42 so I was like 9 watching MJ. But he was my world. Now as an adult. I find Jokić just has the same dominant character but with more of an all-around dominant game. I just find him so fun to watch but then you add in how humble he is & it just doesn't seem human. Especially nowadays, right?
To the Lakers fan that posted & any and all that are like that, just know we have a healthy respect for LA as well, just have been in NuggLife SO long that we have no choice but ride it out. So when the "Who's your daddy?" Chants break out before the games begin, cut us just a slight amount of slack. We are truly not hating as a whole, just sports-hating with the utmost respect! I never thought I'd see the Nuggets get a player like Jokić. And never did I let myself entertain the idea of a Title. Now that banner makes me tear up like Jok. So we're just experiencing what you all have lots of titles to look back on. We're still growing up. Lol.
So lots of love from Denver to LA as well. Just maybe put on hold another what....4 games? Haha. Jk. Hope you give us a challenge because we are going to NEED to lock in from the jump and be locked in if we get by you. Sure a different path this year but one I can still see us accomplishing. Nuggets was so disrespected last season , media never picked them to win in any series . So nuggets played with a chip on their shoulder and it fueled them, I could just feel them playing with such anger/passion, I just knew they were going to go all the way!! Jamal was so locked in he didn’t even want to talk to any media. It just feels like a different energy this time, which is normal they replaced the anger with confidence. But we have to admit we were all pissed off last season with all the disrespect towards the Nuggets which made that championship the best thing I have ever witnessed. I am just concerned because the west is so good this season and Denver isn’t playing with that underdog label anymore , that in my opinion gave them that extra something something to go out and kick butt and prove that they are the best. I am being paranoid I am sure, but after the spurs loss and they knew what was on the line getting first seed and should’ve won that game , they seemed a little unserious and that sparked my concern
I think that Spurs lost might be the best thing to happen to them going into the playoffs. A great reminder not to take anything for granted and to finish EVERY game.
If they win it all, that’ll be amazing and wonderful! If they fail miserably for whatever reason, they’ve had a great run and were know from their journey getting here that tough times only makes this band of brothers stronger.

Also only allow certain toppings which sounds bad until you try the pizza. I mean, you know its good when they are willing to throw money away like that! But one bite & you'll know there's pizza and then there's Totonno's.
