I think Taurean Prince is being overlooked in this series as an X factor. He played well against the Nuggs in the regular season.
I feel like SAN loss was the worse thing that could happen, there are 3 teams you can realistically loose to=1) Lakers (LeBron+refs), 2) PHX (Js to the death), 3) MIN (actually game-plan outplay) and of course BOS hot from 3 in the finals
you can’t 4 games in a 7 series against Lakers and Phoenix, Minnesota plays good and I respect them but I do feel we have the upper hand thanks to our own strenghts.
KCP is gonna be such a factor. He is such a sleeper..He defense is gonna frustrate them so much
here’s what i think might happen. i think jamal is gonna go down a bit from like 32 a game to 27-28. still very good. however what lakers fans aren’t expecting is a possible 22-24 a game from mpj. that’s the curveball they won’t expect. watch!!!

Lakers FO/ownership vs Nuggets a big reason to blame for that as well. Nuggets smartly traded for Aaron Gordon & KCP while drafting Jokic Murray Braun Watson while Lakers moronically broke up a roster from that had they not is still a top5 Top1-8 roster, but instead they inexplicably gave away (or let go while also passing on UCLA Jaime Jaquez Jr at 17 this year and passing on Tatum in 2017 draft)

This series would be much closer/debatable had Lakers FO/ownership not shit the bed on Ty Lue (or keeping Vogel) vs Ham + still having Caruso KCP Zubac & or Lopez, but not now. Lakers perimeter defense is horrific and their size, + shooting 1-7 + coaching is WAY worse then Nuggets.
+ Jokic Murray (one of the GOAT playoff duos and only teammates EVER in PLAYOFFS to BOTH avg 25+ 5+ 5+ and they’re also the only players in playoff history to avg 25+ 5+ 5+ to be have splits of at least 45/40/80!) are in year 9/7 vs LeBron & AD in year 21/12.

96k mins of milage for lakers 2 best players vs 40k mins of milage for Nuggets. Joker Murray right in the heart of their prime at 27/29 + years 7-11 prime range. MPJ AG KCP all in that 25-30 prime range too!
I will say Adam Game 1 of regular season LeBron was +7 in 29 mins (another moronic Lakers/Ham move to pretend he was going to play under 30 mins for season so they play him only 29 mins game one when he’s by far most rested yet then also moronically play him 35-42 mins most nights after that) and in those 19 mins off Lakers were -19 (it’s part of the reason his +10 OnOff is among the top6 of All NBA candidates only behind Joker insane +20 OnOff and then SGA Brunson Kawhi PG) so part of the reason he prob looked sad or “he wanted to quit” is he knew his TEAM compared to Nuggets TEAM when fully healthy (as they inarguably have the best starting 5 and Braun Watson a dope 1-2 bench punch even if I do think they miss Bruce Brown Jr also) wasn’t in same stratosphere as Nuggets. LeBron choosing post Dr Buss Lakers has def cost him more realistic chances at titles his last 3-5 yrs of his career. I think he knows that deep down. If he wanted to be in LA he could of gone to much better run, richest owner in sports clippers and be in a better spot (among many other organizations he could of chose in 2018 like Nuggets, Spurs, Mavs, Heat, Pacers😏, 76ers, Thunder, etc). If Mavs don’t win it all this year him going to Mavs could be an option and I’d like to see it though he’d have to turn into more of a better passing Karl Malone with Luka (agree with Matt Moore Lakers not running more pick & roll with LeBron or posting him up more is soooo dumb). Maybe the Knicks or 76ers too (trusting Embiid’s health and playoff drop off would be foolish. Mavs Knicks Spurs or my Pacers would be the coolest/best place for him to go imo once Nuggets almost certainly beat them assuming none of those other teams somehow win the title).
AD is the bigger issue not LeBron. Bron in year 21 (1 of 6 players ever to even play yr21) being All NBA level top6-12 player in the NBA still as oldest player in NBA w/ most mins played ever and soon to be most games ever (will pass Parish and Kareem next year) is all you can ask.
AD at 31 vs what AD looked like at 20-28 is the bigger issue for Lakers. He’s literally been dominated by Jokic and Sabonis for the most part the last 3yrs (to his defense Lakers giving away Zubac and not adding anyone who can at least try to bang with Joker is more incompetent FO work). He’s in year 12, but at 31 with only 27,600 mins he should still be dominant, but it’s hard to count on him for 27-33 & 12-15 like many nights when he was at his best.
As a Bron and Joker fan I was hoping they met in WCF and Lakers (who I don’t like otherwise bc what small market fan like myself of Pacers 40 years would?!?😅) would get OKC round one then Clippers/Mavs round 2 if they won that. Play in actually fucked Them for that bc for 40yrs pre play in they’re 8 seed and locked into playing OKC.
Oh well hopefully this at least a competitive series and goes 6. Sweep or 7 game series would surprise me, but then again D-Lo looked like the worst starting PG of all time last WCF and has 3rd worst TS% of any active player in NBA with 300+ career points (3/128 behind only Cam Payne & Dillon Brooks) and Hamnesia is so dumb he didn’t start Rui until game 4 last WCF or Feb 2 this year (they won at 56 win pace once he started).

I have a good amount of money on Joker MVP (and have been vocal supporter on twitter @superdopehiphop or @sportscomedyrap for YEARS now clowning cornballs so far behind on Joker like Nick Wright, Arenas, or even smarter basketball ppl like Nate Duncan who inexplicably had him 6th going into last years playoffs…the amount of ppl who ignored how great he was in Playoffs before last year was staggering or the context of his teammates health, but I digress) and Nuggets title!

For me, the first disappointment would be if I saw a large number of fans in yellow at the beginning of the game, and even in the first row. I don't know how it happens in Denver, don't people have season tickets... When other games are played, all Denver fans are there, but when they play against the Lakers or, for example, Boston, I am unpleasantly surprised by how many away fans there are.

The Lakers will probably win at least one game, but the Nuggets will almost certainly win the series.

Denver win 107-93 first game
Regarding what MPJ's personal life is going through, the timing can't be so wrong, ie the decision against his brother and it being made public. Who knows, if the powers that be wanted this public to affect MPJ badly in the playoffs? Now, it's up to Nuggets management to keep him focused to the goal.
MPJ will be okay. There are some things he couldn’t control like what happened to his brothers & the media, but he could still control the outcome of his game. MPJ’s bday is 06/29/1998, he’s a Cancer sun, a cardinal sign that is strong, “can hold down the fort”, and can thrive in any adversity. He’s also a Virgo moon like Jamal, meaning he has a strong intellect and a great work ethic. Lastly, he’s a Taurus saturn, which means that he’s a workhorse, reliable, very disciplined, and has unwavering determination. Hopefully all of these traits he’ll be able to manifest in the playoffs & beyond.
I expect Jamal to bring out emotion with his 3pt shooting, be creative with his finishing and dunks in traffic when needed. I expect AG to throw down thunderous dunks and to be that bully. I expect MPJ to show the world who he is which is a pure scorer on this team and I expect Joker to be his usual stoic self to completely dominate and bring out the emotion at the height of this series. I expect KCP to be at his defensive best and tie the starting groups efforts together.
If you watch the highlights from last years games against the lakers, it did get messy but you could tell they were fully focused each game, I just think they all (including the bench) need to be focused as a collective and it could be another sweep.
