    10:41 thats soo true. I have tight 4c curls. I feel like I know the basics if not everything about every hair type but those with loose hair types ( type 1, 2 and even 3) are sooooo ignorant towards my hair type.

    Actually Annie Malone STARTED the hair care, Madam C.J worked for her before doing hair. 🤔 Why don't YOU guys know this.. Annie Started her hair care 4 years before C.J did..

    • @queenash96
      @queenash96 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Well to be fair, Madam C.J. was the first black woman millionaire because of her hair line and that is a lesser known fact in the world. So i dont blame them for not knowing about Annie as its not a well known fact. Its their first conversation. They will improve their research as the show goes on. No need to be so harsh.

    I totally get it this drug store beauty brand thought that medium beige was out color I use to buy it bc I was just starting into makeup I was a teen and I didn’t know about makeup looking back I’m like how in the world did I wear this white Girl foundation and no one told me different even now I may have to mix certain foundations but as a makeup artist sometimes mixing gives a good finish
    One day I pray I get to do more diverse faces and keep my melanin sistas glowing

    I started using makeup more when I got into modeling at 15. My mom bought me Fashion Fair foundation back then because that’s what she used. I have never been one to really use drug store foundation. I tried it once or twice. Broke me out.

    Yes I have to travel 30 min from where I live for black hair care products. These fools don't even have edge control where I'm at. Smh. That need to change.

    2:48 but any woman can do this and be fly as well?💁🙄🤨 Are you saying that your better than any other ethnicity? Hope you know that every woman of every background is a QUEEN.

  • @bigboyjohnny1191
    @bigboyjohnny1191 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    The pop up bubbles keep saying 'my braids make me beautiful' and 'i love my HAIR'; but that's extremely contradictory because your not wearing your natural hair out for real. None of the 3 women are wearing their "natural" hair out. Lol I love seeing when women of all ethnicities wear their hair out because it really does show security and confidence. Also, I believe ALL hair types are BEAUTIFUL. I also understand it's a "cultural" influence but in other situations 1a blonde hair wigs on black women is NOT. Then want criticize other women for wearing braids...almost got off ttopic...So what's the excuse there? This is not an attack. It's an opinion and a debated question. (PLEASE ONLY MATURE WOMEN ANSWER RESPECTFULLY) PS black woman also say they feel attacked by other ethnicities but then you do the exact same thing to others. You speak as if your better than any other ethnicity or body type but your not though. No one is better than anyone. Everyone is great in their own way.

      I totally agree with your point. I will add that hair was considered very cultural and it was apart of many people groups within Africa as it showed their status in society and so on (before mass slavery). This hair culture included braids, both natural and synthetic, as well as other styles that didn’t really show the natural hair of a black individual, but demonstrated the individual’s CREATIVITY through their natural hair. In today’s society, we still show this black creativity through our hair in both natural and “unnatural” ways as we take back the trademark of hair we once had. All in all I think it is okay for them to have their hair in braids, or straighten their hair because they are simply being creative and showing their identity and self love through what has already been given to them; their natural hair. While yes it doesn’t show their natural hair, I don’t think true confidence and security comes from just that alone but a combination of many aspects of beauty. They simply embraced a part of it which is the hair creativity that flows through the black community and that creativity includes styles with just your natural hair, or using your natural hair as a foundation for something else. (sorry if this was too long 😅).
