Absolutely! It's still in the top ten cards on the market when it comes to raw rasterization. I have not looked at prices recently, but I bet that puts it on top of every other card in it's class considering price vs performance.
@@namactual6992 Of course, there are only three things that concern me 1. The power consumption, I have seen it consumes 330w and that is much increase in temperature. 2.Frame-generation technologies will be placed behind new generations, such as FSR 3.1 etc. 3. I don’t know if this is a problem, but how does productivity performance work? With which nvidia GPU is comparable?
Power consumption is high, but no higher than any other card in that performance range. The 6950XT supports FSR3.1. DCS doesn't, but the card supports it. Honestly, outside of upscaling, I don't use any of the other things like frame generation. This card supports frame gen and I have tried it, but other than doubling the frame rate artificially, I see no visual difference in game. As far as productivity goes, I guess that depends on what you use it for. I primarily game and do artwork on this rig. Blender supports GPU acceleration using the 6950, but I could not tell you how it compares to a 4080. The only thing I can say is I am happy with it.
Is the rx 6950 XT a good purchase at $499?💀
