    A colleague of mine actually used to fly these for a living and another colleague who was an instructor on these. Amazing!!! The only thing they pointed out was on the UK variant, the uk models have a bubble glass on the most rear windows. Other than that...they both agreed it's a really well done job

    Nice overview, I’ll have to take a closer look although the DCS version looks to be the one for me. This model looks ok although there’s quite a few differences in cockpit layout, seems to be an old US version, also noticed it has no rotorbrake? The forward cabin door looked to be huge! I would like to see it being thrown around a bit at low level that’s where the real fun starts. The bit that pops out of the ramp is called the ‘tongue’ and all Chinooks, Puma, Apache etc. are only ever called CAB’s never Helo, thanks for the video mate!

    • @miltechsimulations
      @miltechsimulations 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      CH47Ds (US Variants) do not have a rotor brake IRL. Instead, the weight and friction of the blades is enough to bring the rotor to a full stop.

      @@BritishAvgeek I've never flown in a Chinook but I have in a Wessex and Sea King. They vibrate a lot, so a Chinook will be no different.
      Even Hawks have a fair bit of vibration at max chat down a Welsh valley. Seen it, done it.

      Would be awesome to have a hydraulic seat setup for this that includes the vibration.

      You are referring to the CH-46 Sea Knight, used here in Sweden for hunting Russian submarines during the cold war in the 80s.

    Like how they forget Xbox exist 😂 can't even fix the bugs on xbox let alone bring any new aircraft that is worth flying it's always for PC that is ignorant.

      Sadly it's an entirely different experience on Xbox and tbh I think Microsoft just saw it as a way to make a few more million bucks. So many people experience CTDs on Xbox because it can barely handle the load MSFS demands on the system - which is why so much stuff comes out for PC and not on xbox

      Agree with Luke. Fact is, if you want to flightsim you NEED a pc. On another note, my sister’s bf was a CH47 pilot based Odiham. He was a v strange guy; completely unlike any other pilot and/or forces personnel I have ever known…idle thoughts for a Friday
