I watched all the videos.. I'm waiting for the new ones.. my friend, it's fun to have a look around once in a while.. you're very successful, thank you
On Railing, I would do stainless steel cable through black steel post. This will the thinnest set up so you can enjoy the view and lowest maintenance set up. Will be a good mix of rustic/modern look to the home. Little solar lights on the steps for night time. There are so many designs out there, you'll drive yourself crazy. Looks beautiful so far.
we are hoping for glass for the front and are leaning towards cable for the rest. we still aren’t 100% sure and are having trouble getting a glass company respond to us. Myles is itching to put lights out on the steps.
I love the color. I could totally sit in a kayak on the lake and look up at that. More importantly... Do yall like it? Can't wait to see what you pick for railings.
u dont need to wipe any runs or excess it will all absorb streakless. have it on my privacy fence and did most of it with a squirt bottle, really soaked it deep and finishes beautiful
Hello! I loved watching your videos. BEAUTIFUL home. Iw as wondering if you could tell me the kind of sprayer you used. We are about to stain a very small cabin and you guys made it look easy.
I used galvanized conduit for my horizontal deck railing. I planned to paint it black but it comes with a coat of light oil so needed to be cleaned well before painting so I left the finish as is.
I used Ready Seal to stain my very large deck last Fall. Started out using a sprayer and quickly changed to using a paint brush due to the waste with a sprayer. It still took 24 gals to complete my whole deck & pergola. Applies very easy and I really like the results.
You two work so beautifully together. I love walnut stain & not redwood but the combination is beautiful. Love the flower accents by the middle steps. So very beautiful! Looking forward to nxt video.
Wow! What a difference the stain made!!! Looks really great! Personally I have never had glass panels on my porch or deck but I feel like I would be having to get out the Windex all the time to keep it clean. Also thinking it might block air circulation. If there’s no building code you can do whatever you want. Great channel! Thanks!
the flowers on the middle deck looks very pretty, but please try to talk a little bit more with us. If i wanted to look an ASMR vid, then i would watch that and not yours
Ready Seal dark walnut + redwood; 50/50 mix
Stain pulled the whole porch together.
Very nice think of stainless steel cabel railing,
we have been thinking about cable. it’s most likely what we’ll do plus glass panels for the front few sections.

You Must Lift at the end of each pass of the spray or you get alot of stain.
Can you please tell me the sprayer and tip used here? Any tips and tricks on the spray?
Beautiful and great team work. What kind of wood is that? Look like cedar. Thanks
did you thin your stain or straight spray it?
Just curious what size tip was used in the sprayer when you used the stain?
👍👍👍👍👍
How much stain did this project take?
Just stumbled upon this video and wondering if your using microfiber cloth and mop to wipe and was it dampen b4 use?
Yes. Just spreading it in so it isn’t puddled. The rag started out dry.
Nice job! But just to much wood for me?
So you mixed the two colors together?
Yes
How many gallons of stain did uou use
Just out of curiosity how many gallons of stain did you guys use??? Thanks 😊
10 gallons
👍👍👍👌
more than a quarter of that stain was wasted in overspray. Coming from a painting professional. gorgeous finish.
Stain question covered here.
