Brake are really dangerous to work on if you do not know what you are doing. Follow the entire video and ask any questions you need.

Thank you! The Audi manual showed a special tool to disconnect the brake pedal from the booster. This video was a tremendous help.

What sizes are those brake fittings? I believe m10x1 bubble fitting on 3/16 line, but what size is the larger fitting and line? I’m going to try master cylinder, and then go to abs delete with custom proportioning valve if it doesn’t fix the issue… (fr rl locking up after light driving). Wilwood 260-1117 but will need to get adapters to reuse the old lines. Thanks for any info you have!

3/8-24 seem to fit the threads (temporary plug at the abs unit) but I believe they are supposed to be metric with bubble flare.. tia

Also, allroad abs the primary line coming from the master cylinder (with the long nut-end) seems to first go through a block of some sort, located directly under the abs unit… then another large of the larger lines goes up from there to the abs for the vlp input feed (seems to be for fr and rl calipers)… (hz2 seems to be for the fl and rr) (stopping feels like only the fl is clamping, with plugs in the abs for fr and rl…) that lower block seems to have one electric plug, the two hydraulic lines mentioned, and a rubber hose which I believe snakes through the chassis and up to the bottom of the master cylinder reservoir (like a low pressure return possibly?..). Wondering what that is, and how I can possibly delete all this… assuming a new master doesn’t fix the issue. Thanks again.

@@CaseyD-mu5kl if you take out the ABS system the ECU / DME will throw error codes because part of the brake system will be missing. So you will either have to get the car tuned for non-ABS or fix the unit.

@@disturbingkreationz true. it runs as-it-is with the ABS block unplugged (minus a bunch of dash lights and beeping).. Here's to hoping the master cylinder fixes the issue.. Thank You for the informational videos, this has helped me prepare in making sure i have the correct tools/materials/methods available when the time to repair approaches. 👍
