I like to think that Sceptile and Infernale could have the connection of their overgrow and blaze abilities alongside charizard and pignites relationship
Both Ash’s Pignite and Krockodile’s debute in Ash’s Unova journey both of them were equally impressive and I can’t decide which of them were the ace in the series. All there is to know about them is their incredible Pokémon and there’s no right or wrong answer.
While I'm not really a fan of how Pignite was another Fire starter that got abandonned, I have to admit it was quite charming. Plus I wouldn't mind calling it the ace or at least co-ace because while I think Krookodile is stronger, like Heracross it takes more than just strength to be an ace. Also, he made Fire Pledge look like a really cool move.
I never knew Pignite learned Brick Break, I thought it was Arm Thrust. Despite Pignite having a Flame Charge strong enough to stop Flare Blitz, Brave Bird, and Giga Impact, I think Krookadile is the ace of gen. 5. It would’ve been nice to see Pignite evolve once more to become a big boar, Snivy would’ve been very proud, while Oshawott would be jealous and try to fight his big brother to no avail. Some Pokémon I’d like to see next are either Jame’s Yamask or Cacnea. This is the 100th Pokémon history video, by which I mean just Pokémon and not trainers/ultimate teams.
It's Charizard 2.0, minus fully evolving. I wish he would have fully evolved, but his friendship with Charizard was adorable to say the least. However, he just feels like another Quilava... Had potential to be an Ace of his own, but got overshadowed by Charizard and another Ace in Krookodile. Still a decent Pokémon, but needed that little more, like Incineroar.
Please do a history on Dawn’s Piplup next time! They have such an awesome dynamic and I’ve always been impressed that it refuses to evolve all because his trainer inspired him to become strong in his own way!
Anyone would think that tepigs initial inexperience would deter ash from using it in too many battles. But if anything, it seem to only make him use it all the more for the sake of it growing. I love how tepig basically went from the runt of the litter, to Krookodiles rival for Ash’s Ace of Unova. Krookodile has the best wind streak, but Pignite has the most compelling character development and backstory. It’s trading ember for flamethrower really demonstrated the fruits of its labor and foreshadowed it’s future as an ace. I agree it should’ve evolved all the way though.
Agree with the fact that Pignite should have been an Emboar. Though I think that if Emboar was Ash's Unova ace, we would be in a situation where three of Ash's aces are fully evolved Fire-type starters that were abandoned by abusive trainers (Charizard, Infernape, Emboar), which feels overused and lackluster.
Honestly Pignite was one of my favourite Pokémon Ash caught. I think while it was another fire starter that got abandoned like Charizard and infernape I think that it was handled better than Charizard in terms of the abandoned part. I do agree that Pignite should have evolved into Embour and I’m very glad that you mention that he was the co ace along with Krookodile.

I liked Pignite, but felt him like most unova mons got their stories & progression only halfway. I would've liked to see Snivy & Pignite meet Snivy's original trainer but it turns out to be an opposite situation than usual: the trainer released Snivy but actually felt bad & decided to treat pokemon better moving forwards. Snivy wouldn't belive it and would spend the whole episode angry, wanting to hate her old trainer and see them for the monster she thought they were. Pignite would be there for her and it would culminate in a double battle where Snivy would finally let go of her hate for said trainer, evolving mid-battle. This could've then lead to both it & Pignite evolving together later on.

While I do feel that Emboar is more preferable for Ash, we can't have three of Ash's aces be Fire-starters abandoned by abusive trainers.
Pignite was Ash's second most powerful Unova pokemon behind Krookodile. Despite Ash losing to Cameron, Pignite and Pikachu pretty much carried most of the battle by themselves to keep it from becoming one-sided, considering they were the only ones to beat any of Cameron's team, scoring 2 wins each.

Let’s do a little recap here… Charmander: Abandoned by it’s trainer and left to die in the rain. Chimchar: Overworked by it’s trainer, eventually being abandoned by him for being to “weak”. Tepig: Abandoned by it’s trainer due to him being to lazy to train it. Litten: Has It’s father figure die. God! Ash’s Fire types have had been through hell.
I would agree it was a missed opportunity for Pignite not to have evolved into Emboar, especially since Pignite was a regular sparring partner with Infernape and how one would assume all that training would’ve led to Pignite evolving into Emboar. Plus it is debatable on who Ash’s Unova ace was since Krookodile could be considered Ash’s Unova ace but again it is debatable.
I’m gonna take this moment to voice one of my own poke pet peeves. Now I understand that ash not fully evolving his Pokémon is a tale as old as time, but I was particularly infuriated with this given how not only was he perfectly okay fully evolving his chimchar a generation ago, but Emboar is one of my favorite Pokémon of all time so it’s somewhat frustrating seeing ash just one Evolution away from obtaining him for no particular reason other than because. I at least somewhat understand that this is meant to show ash has not fully matured as a trainer, but cmon man, fully evolving your chimchar is cool but not your Tepig? :c

It’s strange to me that all of the fire Pokémon are getting the treatment and then ash saving them and becoming a fiery force that you don’t want problems with it’s a pattern a fiery pattern 🔥🔥🔥
I think Ash’s Pignite was a good Pokemon and battler through I’m not sure about It evolving into Emboar as it might’ve suffer the same problem as Torterra in being Slow and since you mentioned Snivy do her next to complete Ash’s three Unova Starters.
I have gotta stop watching Pokémon stuff, it always makes me cry. Poor Tepig! I’m so happy Ash gave him a new lease on life. I hope Seamus, or Shamus, or however you spell it, falls down a well. TnT

Out of all the abandoned Pokemon Ash had to save, Tepig had it the worst. Instead of just left there, literally tied up and starved. Shamus deserved worse
Shamus is pathetic. It's sad how some people, who belittle and disrespect you and your skills, suddenly treat you better when you do something that impresses them. I remember when my boss went from rude to nice. Once, she was upset I had signed up for a one-person shift. She scolded the manager below her rank (then 25) for not noticing I had signed up to go solo. When she asked him if she thought I could do the shift, I answered for him with a firm "yes," because I felt belittled by her. She said she didn't think so, was all "I've told you not to sign up for shifts by yourself, I've been very clear about that, I don't know how much clearer I can get for you to listen," and she told me I need someone there to give me instructions and guide me. Four years prior to that confrontation, and she had no faith in me. And then what happened that night? I fought a very tall, strong robber, using my hand-eye coordination and the environment against him. After I won, my boss was all "John, you were _incredible!_ You are a _hero!_ And a strong, resourceful one at that! You wanna work that service--or any service--alone, you got it!" Now guess what I said to her?
I’d like to see that after Ash left the anime, Ash caught a Fuecoco with a similar backstory to Pignite, abandoned due to lack of sympathy of its OG Trainer and later caught by Ash when he proved to be a better Trainer
I don't think the writers are allowed to do another abandoned Fire-starter Story arc, as Pignite's was already proven to be uninspiring and unoriginal.
Not trying to rain on pignites parade. But one of the many Pokemon that has mistreated or mismannered that it took someone else to prove to it that not all humans are bad. Cause honestly that's why many of the pokemon joined ash's team cause he went out of his way to show them he really cares of all the pokemon. The match I really want to see is if pignite fully evolve and faces Charizard. But I think he might be the Bulbasaur of the fire pokemon and is there to pump up the fire pokemon

THE HELL WON'T LAST LONG ANYMORE!
Awesome lesson Professor 🎉

0:10 Oshwotts appearance! Professor Silver can you review Oshwotts next? Thanks for the video, we watch every week 😁
I actually covered Oshawott last year, it's a fun video, hope you like it!
I'd say it's Krookodile.
He definitely had heart
💯💯
Pignite I can see he had a lot of confidence issues. So small victories helped out with that
I wished Ash's Pignite evolved into Emboar at last .
I love how pignite share's the same history as charizard
Wow... Kind of Paul's chimchar and Damien's charmander
Aside from the writers still owing Ash an Emboar, Pignite's story is downright lazy since it recycles elements from Battling a Thaw in Relations and Charmander the Stray Pokemon (Look at the two episodes and compare them to Evolution by Fire) along with no meaningful story arc. I'm sure the writers were initially going "Pignite shares the same tragic backstory like Charizard and Infernape therefore he automatically should be the Unova ace", which is complete BS because anyone who watched the DP and original series could point out the similarities. Pignite is the main reason why the abandoned fire-starter story was banned from the series for good.
Would have like to see him evolve into emboar
Why does every Fire starting Pokémon Ash catches always get abandoned?
Cyndaquil
Seamus is worse Damien may have abandoned charmander but at least he didn’t starve him
Tepig was anorexic when ash found him
even though pignite didn't evolve again he was still a great addition to ash's team and a great brotherly figure for charizard
im sure im not the only one thinking this ^w^
11:55 the power of friendship🔥🔥
I think he should do Scraggy history next

Jessie’s Frillish.
That'll be a fun one to cover someday, but quite a short video
I’m playing Pokémon Scarlet in Spanish instead of English (I can speak and read Spanish pretty well, and I figured it would be fitting for a region based on the Iberian Peninsula), and in the translation Arven’s name is SUPER IRONIC once you know his motives for seeking the Herba Mystica: his name is DAMIAN, you know, the same name as the guy who abandoned Charmander!
Profesar we loved the bonding of piggy n Charizard
Best things about unova
Ash caught all 3 starters❤❤❤
After long gap since of johto
N finally a starter which he received from a professar
How is Ash owning all three Unova starters automatically a best thing?
It’s strange to me that all of the fire Pokémon are getting the treatment and then ash saving them and becoming a fiery force that you don’t want problems with it’s a pattern a fiery pattern 🔥🔥🔥
I love ashs tepiggg ❤ can't wait to see corphish
My favorite Pokemon finally covered 🙂
Wish Pignite evolved into Emboar
I think Ash’s Pignite was a good Pokemon and battler through I’m not sure about It evolving into Emboar as it might’ve suffer the same problem as Torterra in being Slow and since you mentioned Snivy do her next to complete Ash’s three Unova Starters.
Yes I love pignight he’s my favourite in gen 5
Like always great video
Thanks!!
Can you do Ash's Butterfree? he's the last of Ash's Kanto mons to talk about. and his first capture.
Do Next Complete History Of Paul's Honchkrow
I hate that guy who abandoned Tepig for beening weak.
Likewise
I have gotta stop watching Pokémon stuff, it always makes me cry. Poor Tepig! I’m so happy Ash gave him a new lease on life. I hope Seamus, or Shamus, or however you spell it, falls down a well. TnT
Pignite is underrated it didn’t fully evolve like infernape or charizard but was a powerhouse it defeated its evolve form another fire type threw a golurk took on 3 Pokémon in the same battle didn’t let his past upset him disobeying ash like charizard
Do The Complete History Of Brandon's Regirock Registeel Regice Please!

YES
I think the most disappointing part of Pignite was he never used his signature move Heat Crash.
I want to see a video about Cilan's Stunfisk
Never understood why Ash never fully evolved his Starters during his time in Unova. Pignite needed to evolve into Emboar. And I would've loved to see Oshawott fully evolve into Samurott.
I really wish he had at least one go all the way to their final form
Because Bianca already had an Emboar.
@@ProfessorAlexSilver But then again, this was Unova we're talking about. A series that, if they didn't make Ash an idiot, had countless amount of wasted potential or forgotten plots.
@@pn2294 That means absolutely nothing when it comes to Pokemon. After all, Ash caught a Torkoal some time after he battled Flannery. He also has a Swellow before battling Winora, and evolved his Unfezant when he battle Skyla.
My point is, just because someone else had a Pokemon, doesn't mean that Ash can't get his own in the future.
@@OmnicidalClown1992 actually these are all good arguments to the contrary
We never saw Flannery again so her Torkoal isn’t a factor compared to Bianca who was a recurring character
They specifically made Winona’s Swellow shiny to differentiate it from Ash’s Swellow
They also changed the gender of Skyla’s Unfezant to make hers was different from Ash’s
That'll do Pignite. That'll do.
Fire Pig Fire Pig Does Whatever A Fire Pig Does
Out of all the abandoned Pokemon Ash had to save, Tepig had it the worst.
Additionally, Paul is also considered unkind. and also evil Patheic bullying never changes. on/off villain.
@@ShadowMomchi-PhoeniexELj-ir6voStay with me, pal, I'm trying to make a point
@@johnrainsman6650 I'm making or trying my point to tho.
Ash is basically the social worker of abandoned and abused Pokémon
I don't care what anyone says. Ash's Pignite should've evolved into Emboar.
Agreed lol
ah tepig, my first unova starter back in pokemon white. wonder how powerful pignite would be going all the way to emboar...
Pignite is definitely one of Ash’s more overrated Pokemon, but is still a solid battler all the same. But he definitely should of evolved into Emboar
Professor can you make a complete history about Cilan's Crustle he really deserves it☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Honestly Tepig EASILY had the saddest backstory. Sure Charmander, Chimchar, and Gengar were abandoned but Shamus legit left Tepig to DIE.
Yeah!
Shamus is nothing but a big jerk. He doesn’t deserve Tepig, as a matter of fact, he doesn’t deserve to be a Pokémon trainer!!!!😡😡😡😡
Paul is simply unkind. He doesn't merit having poor sweet chimchar., and frankly, he doesn't merit the title of a Pokémon trainer.😡
